Arianna's POV
“I am what you are.”

"Dad, I'm trying my best to get her in so stop whining already," I said quite annoyed at my father, the last living elder of our coven.

"Well try harder! The coven's fate is in both your hands!" He shouted, clearly frustrated by everything, his eyes fixed onto me.

"It's always been in my hands and because of that you removed a part of me and made me a monster!" I shouted with anger in my voice. I could feel the power serging though me as a large streak of electricity flew from me to the entire room. The windows shattered more more than they already were. I turned the blue surges of lightning flow onto my dad with a maniacal grin on my face. I made him kneel down to me as he got electrocuted for over a hundred times simply by the clenched of my fist. He screamed in pain and begged me to let him go, bringing me much delight as the satisfied grin emerged on my face grew wider and wider. I sighed and did as he asked.

I wanted to remind him of what he did to me – of how ruthless his daughter had become with no limitations to her own blood. I gave him a slight smile and lowered myself to the man trying to recover himself from the pain he had just experienced. I then gave him a blank expression.

"Remember all this power you gave us? That's what half of it can do to an Elder so let me do this my way or you'll end up like mom," I whispered to him and gave him a faint smile. I turned my attention away from him to get up and sigh, immediately leaving the room, my smile turning into a blunt expression as my father looked on worryingly but also in fear.

I like when people fear me. Some say fear is a bad thing but no, you must instill fear in people if you want power. Power is everything I've ever wanted.

Phoebe's POV
"She said what?" Lisa asked, seated on Pheobe's cream-white sheets in disbelief of what I said.

"She said I was a witch and that we're connected. That she is whatever I am," I replied, still shook by yesterday's events walking back and forth from my bedroom. I sighed and sat down next to my friend.

"But she's just some random girl we met yesterday," I said trying to be logical despite knowing what I saw her do couldn't be explained by logic or science. I was never a superstitious or at all religious person. It wasn't something I believed in. At some point, I never actually believed in much. sighed at my thoughts, gaining a sympathetic look from Lisa.

"But What are the odds? I can't be a witch," I added, still hoping to make myself believe that everything I saw yesterday was just some sort of prank.

"Well, for starters, she looked exactly like you and you did see that tree literally turn to ash," Lisa said with a shrug. I nodded my head at her reasoning that I just might be a witch of some sort.  Arianna told me to ask my parents but I wasn't ready yet. As I continued my thought train, a large fire emerged at the middle of my room causing Lisa to shriek. Could this possibly get any crazier? I simply laid there and watched the fire despite Lisa trying to run or stop the fire, staring at me as though I was crazy. I knew Ariana was coming as it was circular and they were blue flames. I figured that maybe blue was the colour of our power but why?

Ariana emerged out of the circle of blue flames or portal, in this case as I predicted. "Hello doppelganger, hello human spawn," Ariana said rather calmly, staring at the two of us, one of us sitting in shock and the other quite unmoved by what was happening. I tried to take in all of the information already last night. Lisa walked up to her, still in shock but also in admiration, studying her like she had been a science experiment. Ariana simply gave her a smile.

"It's always nice to meet a fan," Ariana whispered to me with a grin, Lisa still studying her in admiration. I've never seen her more excited about anything than she was about this.
