Accidents Happen (Prologue)

SUMMARY
Evan was able to finish upgrading Goblin Slayer's helmet and adding in additional mods, such as Night Vision and etc. Although the design is the same, it's features seem more sleeker than usual. The gauntlet, however, still had to go through testing since Evan thought it was a good idea to add more modifications to it. Such as the Energy Blade (which he still kept it), Energy Shield (scrapped), Portable Tracking device (scrapped, later reused for a different device), and even at one point he considered adding a grenade launcher for said gauntlet, which this chapter will be focusing on.

5 WEEKS AFTER BBS's ARRIVAL

The scene begins in the morning, with Evan in a bike, driving to Goblin Slayer's home. It has been 5 weeks since the crew arrived on the world they're in. They've gotten to know most of the Guild's inhabitants by now, like Heavy Warrior, Female Knight, Spearman, Witch, and many others.

Back to the Present, Evan arrived at Goblin Slayer's place or Cow Girl's Uncle's home, with a basket in hand and a backpack. He hopped off his bike and walked to the house. While walking, he was spotted by Uncle, who immediately greeted Evan, albeit a not-exactly-friendly-in-a-way kind, but a greeting nonetheless.

Uncle: "Oh, you again."

Vanoss: "Mornin' to you too, sir."

Uncle: "He's in the shed, if you're looking for him."

Evan was a little confused at first but then realized what he was referring to.

Vanoss: "Thanks."

Uncle: "Don't forget, if you so much as damage me and my niece's home. I'll-"

Vanoss: "Stick your Pitchfork up my ass and use me as fertilizer."

Uncle: "Not exactly the threat I'd use but you get the idea."

Vanoss: "Yeah yeah...."

Evan continues to walk towards the front of the house, but before he could even knock, the door opened, revealing Cow Girl in her usual outfit. CowGirl jumped in fright due to Evan's presence.

CowGirl: "Gah!! Evan, I didn't know you'd be here soon."

Vanoss: "Hehe, my bad. Here, I brought something for you and your uncle (*gives basket to Cow Girl)."

CowGirl: "What is it?"

Vanoss: "Food."

CowGirl opened the lid of the basket. In it were dozens of loaves of bread. Cow Girl's eyes widened and she immediately looked at Evan.

CowGirl: "You went to the bakery?"

Vanoss: "(*nods head) Hmphm. I knew you guys would love the food I brought. It's enough for a whole while."

CowGirl: "Thank you. By the way, if you're looking for Goblin Slayer, he's-"

Vanoss: "In the shed. Your Uncle already told me where he is."

CowGirl: "Uh....okay..."

Vanoss: "You take care now."
