La'neya POV. Michigan Detroit. 9:13 am. October 4th .
A few days ago Cortasia helped me find a apartment. I found a complex and it was a side by side with upstairs and downstairs. The rent was 750$ and that wasn't that much. My auntie gave me 5,000$, Cortasia, her brother Cordell, and my auntie went to pack up me and Londyn clothes yesterday so me and Londyn ready to go. I was only 18 and moving across the map by myself, I haven't seen or heard from my momma which was good.
Me and Londyn was at the airport and we just got threw bag check.
"I love y'all so much! Please call me tt baby if you need anything, we a call every 2 days to check on y'all." My auntie said as she held me tight in her arms.
"Bye baby." She let me go and picked up Londyn.
I walked over to Cordell. "Bye ugly." I hugged him tight. Him and my dad was in jail together while me and Londyn was in foster care, I knew he was my protector, period.
"Bye lil thot, be smoove cous," He let go.
I walked over to Cortasia who looked like she was finna cry. "Ima miss you alotttt, like you my twinnnn!" We rocked back and forth in a hug.
"I swear man, I love you but you hugging me tight." I chuckled as she let me go and wiped her tear.
"Crybaby." I spoke as she grabbed Londyn from Cordell.
"Mmcht, Shut up." She kissed her teeth.
"Plane 13 Boarding now." The loud speaker spoke.
"I love y'all. Bye." I said my final goodbyes.
"Say bye." I told Londyn and she waved.
They waved and walked away.
"Ready?" I smiled at Londyn who was in my arms. She smiled and shook her head.
I grabbed the bags and walked to the airplane, gave the lady my ticket and got on.
4 Hours later. | 1:53 pm. | Walmart.
After we got off the plane 2 hours ago, I called an uber to take me to a car dealership. I rented a car to pay for every month for 5 years, the payments was 224$ since my credit was good. The down payment was 1,673$ which leave me with 3,327$. I got a white Honda CR-V.

"Come on, last place then you can get something to eat." I explained to Londyn who was hungry and tired. I went to the back to get her a car seat then went to check out.
I walked back out with the car seat, took it out the box then put it in the car, I put the box in the trunk with our bags.
"Here." I helped her in then buckled her.
I got in the car then started it up, it felt so clean and smelt good like a new car.
"Where you wanna go?" I asked.
"Donald's." She said. I pulled off and put in the gps to McDonalds.
I was just going to get a motel for the night and meet the lady for the side by side in the morning at 11 am cause that's what she told me.
At Motel 6.
"Girl the weather feel sooo nice down here! I love it already!" I told Cortasia over the phone.
"That's nice that you like it there, hopefully yo ass don't be yo friendly cause I will be down there for Christmas." She responded.
"Girl boo, ion like people." I said.
"Whatever, where Londyn?" She asked.
"She right here sleep next to me, I go look at the side by side in the morning." I explained.
"Periodddddd!"
"Thank you, but Ima call you tomorrow and let you know how everything going. I think ima get a air bed for now then put Londyn in a daycare or some shit." I said.
"Aight be safe. Love."
"Love." I hung up the phone.
I put my phone on the charger and turnt to my side, pulled Londyn to my body then fell asleep.
Next Morning | 10:28 am.
"Come on Londyn, spit the toothpaste out! We got places to be." I spoke as I walked out the bathroom. I heard her spit then she walked out the bathroom.
"Come put this on." She came to me then I rubbed vaseline on her face.
I picked her up then went to put her in the car seat, I strapped her in. I went back in the house to get the bags and put them in the truck. I grabbed my charger and Londyn tablet.
"Here." I handed her the tablet.
I turnt on my hotspot and put in the gps the address.
12:40 pm.
"Thank you, I love it." I told Melissa that was my landlord.
"No problem, you a single mom?" She asked then smiled at Londyn.
"Single sister, it's a long story but I'm taking care of her on my own." I responded.
"How old are you?" She questioned.
"18" I replied.
"How bout you pay me 500$? instead of 750$. I really like you and not everybody come like this." She motioned her hands up and down my body.
"That's really nice of you, I swear i'll do whatever to repay you when I get on my feet." I responded happy.
"How bout you just work at my hair salon? That way you can bring her with you." She said preferring to Londyn.
"Thank you, can I start soon as possible?"
"Tomorrow, ill text the address." she pulled out her phone and we exchanged numbers.
She handed me the keys then out the door locking it. The neighborhood we lived in was good and it was a lot of side by sides and family houses around here. I can't wait for Londyn to get a lil older.
"You like it?" I asked Londyn.
She jumped around and smiled. This baby been threw so much.
