Not letting go of the bed as I saw two of the arstatis holding my bed, one more was making hole in front for us. By hole I mean he was a living bulldozer , so the bed would have place to move through.
The Apothecary was running by my side, running diagnosis and cursing from time to time. Something about destroyed some important equipment of her.
"Get in!" Lion command as we passed him and into one of the aircraft's that was now bursting with life. There was now many howering as it made ready to take of.
"Close the aircraft's and open the doors!" There was followed by clamping sound, aircraft's boosting up.
Lion walked over to me, got grip of something, the aircraft suddenly bursting to life. It was a hard takeoff that couldn't bee compared to anything from my past life.
"I wish to apologize for the early wake up, we need to go. The wolf ship was getting attention from the warp creatures."
"I understand." I could feel something ticklish inside of me. Like if things in me changing.
"Apothecary.... It's happening...." I looked down on my body. It was weird, at her standard, it should already had happened. But nothing, it was as it had been waiting for me to get stronger to endure it.
"That's not to good, I don't have equipment to monitor it well.."
"What is happening?!" Lion looked angry.
"My second heart is joining...." Sudden gasp for air. Twitches started, spasm as the world around me turned and twisted.
"We need to keep him alive artificial, I do not know what will happen if he can't supply enough blood in his body. I need some power supply..."
"I am sorry my lord but this will hurt..."
Something was put through my chest, I could feel something in me crack under the brutal force. Then something cold on my now bear chest, freezing cold, but I felt something buzzing from it.
It had it's own pase, slowly but steady. "Buzz.. buzz... Buzz... Buzz..." My mind just stopped everything else, just on the pure buzz sound. I knew what it was... So steady.... A heart beat... Yes a heart beat, my heart.
"Don't fade... Just listen to the sound.." someone said in the distance.
I could feel him again, pushing my mind back to the body. So many times I just wanted to end it, it was awful.
"You can't.." I heard his claiming voice each time.
It stopped, the buzzing sound and electrical feeling, just stopped. Had it really ended now, or were I alive.
I tried to reach out of my protective barrier I had somehow created.
"He is waking up.." someone said in a hush tone.
My eyes took everything in, just a blink of an eye to get used to the lights.
"Good .. try your toes.."
I followed the command, it worked.
Toes, head , arms.. everything was functioning well.
I looked over to the apothecary, she was with an other. The others had runes on their armour, blue armour and fur hanging on their armour. On their belt a small bird scull, something they had as pride, for it was the hardest pray they could ever take down.
"There are no wolves on Fenris...." I have that sentence long since drilled in my head from hearing on the sound books of Warhammer that it slipped my mouth.
The rune priest looked over at me, their yellow eyes gleaming with wonder. A smile showing off fangs type of teeths, ready to bit their pray.
