Hey! i don't really know how to start this crazy story, but i'll do my best. My names y/n. most of the newsies just call me by my name but a select few get to call me by nicknames.
Anyway, my brother is Jack Kelly. We got stuck in foster care once our parents left. Jack says they are out west looking for a place to live. i'm not sure i believe that. Anyway, i'm 15 years old and i live in the newsies lodging house with my brother and my friends. Apparently i'm a girl and i'm not allowed to be a newsie ( sHeS nOt LiKe oTheR GirLs) so i work in a local diner called Tibbys. i'm a waitress.
Money's tight so sometimes i sneak some food back to the house for the kids who couldn't afford food that selling day. Anyways, that's pretty much my life until all the crazy stuff starting happening.
