February, the second month of the year, the shortest month of the year, the month which has a week dedicated for lovers.......

Apart from all these, this year this month was special for most of the people in Kunnakudi...

It was the month when "Oor Thiruvizha" was falling on....

6 days of temple festival, the first and last day was meant for the rituals not much of fun...

But the middle 4 days were reserved for fun, entertainment, songs, dance, and family times....

The temple ground was occupied by bright coloured tents and LED lights that would attract any person....One look at the ground, anyone will have the urge to the stroll through the muddy crowded place..... it was filled with diverse items from toys, glass bangles, coolers, earrings, beads, chains, pearls, balloons, lamps, bajjis, panju mittais, colas...

The small and big merry go rounds and the spectacular view of fireworks could bring joy and merry to any soul....

It was a day looked forward by many a people.....just to enjoy with the near and dear ones....

But, in this crowd stood a lonely soul surrounded by his family....

All these sights don't bring him any joy nowadays...

There was a time when he had enjoyed all this, this whole setup brought a smile on his face, he had looked forward to the day he would come with his wife and children and get all the things his child pointed to...

All those just remained wishes or dreams......

His mind went out to the last thiruvizha he spent happily...

It looked a forlorn memory.....

And he turned to see none other than the girl of his dreams standing there enjoying with her family....

He didn't want to face them, face his demons and he turned only to clash with another girl whose life he had spoiled....

He couldn't turn to his left or right...

To both his sides, stood people whose life he had fucked up mercilessly knowingly or unknowingly...

Its been 8 years he met her...

The last time meet with her flashed before his mind....

It was not a happy meet...

It was a moment of too much years....

She had married another guy on the same day, he was supposed to tie thali to her.....

He wanted to pass a smile to her....But he couldn't muster up the courage for that......

It could be her husband's or child's presence....or the very fact that she was pregnant...

He didn't want to bring any sorrowful memories to her...

Especially now that she was carrying another life within her.....

Her hands were adorned fully with colourful glass bangles, a clear indication of her seemandham and also the fact that her due date was only weeks away...

Why to trouble her?

Hadn't he caused enough trouble?

True that, she had also caused enough trouble.....

But, he didn't wanna keep grudge...

He had only wished a happy life for her....

Though, he is alone with no family, he is happy for her whom he has caused so much pain.......
