Defeated and Captured

I woke up to see my friends gathered around me. I initially felt dazed and confused, but then my memories hit me hard. I remember using my Dragon fire to defeat Valtor. I fought him in his own source of power and nearly extinguished his flame. I didn't kill him; I don't think I could bring myself to kill anyone. Valtor was still a person, albeit an evil person, but I knew that it would've felt wrong and haunted me forever.

"Bloom? Bloom? Are you alright?" I heard the familiar voices of my friends.

My vision was blurry at first, and I felt groggy; my head was throbbing in pain as if a confusion spell hit me. My vision finally focused, and when I looked at my friends, they instantly realized knowing that I was okay.

I stood up slowly and walked over to see a wounded Valtor. He was shaking in pain and his teeth were clenched together despite being unconscious. His eyebrows were furrowed together and his eyelids twitched as if he were in REM sleep having a nightmare.

I almost felt bad for him, seeing the amount of pain he was in before remembering that he deserved this. I dismissed my feelings of guilt before quietly whispering a spell to create binds of fire around his wrists to restrain him.

I kneeled down and pulled up upwards, gabbing his arms and looping them around my neck. I was partially holding him upright but his feet dragged behind me like a plush animal that was too long for a child to hold upright.

Slowly but surely I heave Valtor toward Stella since she had her scepter out, ready to teleport us back to Alfea.

My legs began to shake a bit under Valtors weight until the specialists ran over to help carry the dark wizard. Valtor was taller than me by almost a full head, he was well built with wide shoulders and kinda heavy.

"I'll put a sleeping spell on him just in case." Flora stated, walking over to Valtor and blowing a mist into his face, which caused his body to slack.

Once Stella transported everyone back to Alfea the specialists needed return to Red Fountain to let them know the threat has been detained. All the other girls were drained but I was still running on adrenaline, it took some convincing but I offered to carry Valtor to Ms.Faragonda.

Thankfully she was waiting for our arrival near the front entrance, I volunteered to go with her tot he infirmary while the rest of the Winx headed back to our dorm. I was surprised to hear from Ms. Faragonda that she needed to heal Valtor. Before I could express my concerns she explained that he must be healed before putting him in ice and back to the Omega dimension.

"Bloom you should head to bed, you've had a very long day. Remember you still have classes in the morning but if you are still exhausted I won't hold it against you if you'd like to skip tomorrow." Ms. Faragonda smiled, she was always a sweet soul, I knew she cared about me but I knew that I need to keep up with class.

"Thank you Ms. F, but it's fine I don't want to fall behind in class" I tried to reassure the older fairy that I'd be fine by tomorrow. She looked at me with a concerned face then just nodded her head in agreement.

I slowly stumbled into my dorm, I noticed it was quite silent, then I remembered all the girls had gone to bed out of pure exhaustion. The tiredness hit my body as I stumbled to my shared room.

Saving Magix was not an easy task and I felt absolutely worn out. I let out a long yawn and lazily stripped from my clothes and left them on the ground before grabbing my cotton sleeveless pink pajama dress. I gargled with mouth wash, too tired to brush my teeth but not tired enough to risk getting cavities.

I stumbled toward my bed, letting the softness of the comforter embrace my tired body. I turned off the light and closed my eyes, expecting sleep to claim my exhausted body with ease.
