Dragon Flame connection (Bloom x Valtor)

A First Encounter

Just a quick note. Anything written in italics is thoughts. She isn't saying anything out loud. Unless it has quotations then she is speaking out loud if you get what I mean. Eh you'll understand as you read. Enjoy.

My eyes shot open as I sat up. I felt that I had broken out in a cold sweat in my sleep, I looked at my brunette friend sitting next to me. She looked very concerned for me. Flora had pulled me into an embrace, in a hushed tone she kept repeating " It's okay sweetie, it was just a bad dream. I'm here for you when ever your ready to talk." Flora always knew how to calm anyone down. I was grateful to have her as my friend. I smiled and quickly returned her embrace.

"Thank you" I said to her in a slightly quivering voice.

We stayed in a embrace for a while until she broke the comforting silence.

"Are you ready to talk about it honey? If not that's okay, i'll wait with you for as long as you need" Flora was always so supportive and reassuring. I smiled at my friend and slowly pulled out of the embrace. I gathered my thoughts before telling her most of my dream, purposefully leaving out her conversation with Valtor. All Flora did was smile at me and continued to comfort me.

"Flora I don't know what i'd do without you" I said to her while holding back tears.

"I will always be here for you Bloom don't forget it" She put a tissue up to my eyes wiping away any of the tears before they fell down my face. "We should probably get some rest now Bloom, we only have 2 hours before we need to get up." Flora gave me one last hug before heading to her own bed. I closed my eyes and to my surprise I was able to sleep quickly without having anymore dreams.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

I groaned still wanting to sleep, my alarm was too loud at this time of day. I shut it off and was tempted to just jump into my soft bed again and just go back to sleep. I knew I told Ms. F that I'd be fine but now I wasn't so sure anymore. That nightmare, vision or whatever it was had truly shaken me up. I sighed and just started to get ready, I had quickly eaten a delicious breakfast of eggs and bacon. Man am I grateful for Floras cooking talent, she even made bacon from all natural ingredients. I decided that I was going to go for a change of cloths instead of my usual blue color and attire. I had put her hair into a braid with a pink elastic at the end of it, I had a black plated skirt with pink leggings underneath it. The pattern on the leggings were hearts, I wore a white blouse with a small crop top pink vest over it, I had a nice bow at her neck underneath the collar of the blouse. Lastly I put on pink boots that were almost knee length high just to pull the outfit all together.

I headed out the dorm and went to my first class. Of course it had to be spell theory with Ms. Griselda as my teacher. I approached the door and just inhaled sharply, then exhaled before entering the classroom. It's not that I was scared of her or anything, I just didn't have any of my BFF's with me in this class.

I took my seat by the window in the second row in the class. I preferred it here because I always had a nice view and the sun shining on my skin was nice and warm. After a minute or two Ms. Griselda had entered the class and ushered us to take out our notebooks. After taking a couple pages of notes I heard a strange noise. It didn't sound audible, it was more of a feeling. I could hear this sound inside my head but it felt more like a voice.

It was a low rumble and frequency, it almost seemed like a mans voice. This went on for a while so I tried to not focus on it much and continue to write down notes. In all honesty I rather try to figure out what the noise was instead of listen to Ms. Griselda talk. Then again I know I have an up coming test so I should probably try to focus. After a few moments the noise just stopped, I was so thankful until I heard him speak.
