Story of how ^^ happened: When Liberty was younger her parents used to always fight. One day her father Dan got really angry at Mia her mother. He made her pack her bags. On Mia's way out she tried to grab 5 year old Liberty. Liberty loved her mom so much. She really loved their games of Marco Polo in the woods. She wanted to go with Mia. But, a couple seconds after Mia picked Liberty up. Dan pulled a gun out. "Put Liberty down,Mia!" Dan shouted scaring Liberty. "No Dan I'm taking my daughter!" Mia shouted back this made Liberty tightly grab onto Mia. "Put her down or you both die!" Dan said pointing the gun at Liberty. Mia didn't want to put her down but, she also didn't want to be the cause of  Liberty's death. Mia put Liberty down.  "Momma no, take me." "Baby I can't if I touch you we both will die." "10 secs left to say bye to Liberty,Mia!" Dan chuckled. "But momma we would die together." Mia started to cry. Liberty wiped her momma's cheek. "Times up." Dan laughed. Liberty walked back to Dan while, Mia picked up her suitcase. Mia turned around and started to walk away tears still flooding her face. Mia soon sinced danger and moved her head to the left. She was right. Dan tried to shoot the left side of her head. That was the last time Liberty saw her mother............ while she was 5.

2 years later Age~7
Liberty was getting abused every other day since her mother left.  Now her and Dan are sitting at a table. Dan was eating while Liberty was tapping a stick on the table. Then, Dan catches the beat to Liberty's tapping and started singing to the beat.
"Oh lord I want you to help meee." he sung to the beat. Liberty wanted to join because she knew the lyrics.
"Oh lord I want you to help me." she sung. Dan looked at her like she was crazy.
"You can be quite now and quit tapping on my table." He went back to eating. Liberty stopped for a moment, then she started again.
"Help me on my journey!" she sung. Dan stopped eating and looked at Liberty again.
"I said hush your mouth and quit tapping on my table!" Liberty stopped again but this time she spoke. "No." Dan looked at her in shock. She started up again.
"Ohhh looorrrddd help me on my waaaayyss." she sung with all her heart. She then felt a stinging sensation on her face. She look at her "father" and got up.
"What are you doing Liberty?" Dan looked angrily at Liberty.
"Leaving I'm tired of your, your, your, BULLSHIT!" Dan was surprised again. He was now in shock, so was Liberty.  She started heading for the door. Dan still couldn't find words. And then, Liberty was gone. For good.

1 year later Age~8
Liberty was actually doing good on the streets she would stay in the back of Publix. One day after she left. A nice woman named Lois saw her. Lois tried to tell Liberty she could stay with her and her husband Daniel. But Liberty refused Daniel was to close to Dan's name she would think of them the same. So Lois told her she can stay in the back of her job and Liberty agreed. Everyday she would get free food and clothes from Lois. She had keys to Publix so she can close up. But, one day she stayed out late. Then, while she was out she looked across the street and saw a big fire with a lot of people around it laughing and talking. Then, she saw a fimliar face. She squinted so she can tell who it really was. And she did, this face was who she was looking for. Mia.  She ran over screaming
"MOMMA, MOMMA, MOMMA! IT'S ME LIBERTY!" Mia looked up and saw Liberty. She looked away and back at the man who was hugging on her. The "Man" saw Liberty and said to Mia,
"You know this little girl?" he asked. Mia looked at you one last time.
"No, Devin I don't know who this child is." But she knew it was Liberty.
"But momma-" Liberty tried to say with tears in her eyes until Mia cut her off.
"CHILD I AM NOT YOUR MOTHER! GO ON SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU ARE WANTED!" Mia shouted. Liberty then ran to Lois and Daniel's  house. It started to rain. Liberty knocked on the door until Daniel came.
"Liberty why aren't you at Publix? You're soaking wet. Liberty," he looked really close at her. "Liberty why are you crying?" He asked full of concern. "M-m-my mo-mo-momma disowned me." They were now inside. Daniel gave her a towel and some orange juice. He didn't want to make her sadder so he didn't ask more. He turned to the Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast" he watched it with her until she fell asleep. He took her to the guest room and laid her in the bed. He kissed her forehead and said "You're not leaving." and walked back to him and Lois's room and went to bed.

3 years later 11 years old
Liberty is now under full custody of  Lois and Daniel. She is very responsible. It is now June the 10th (here is a cool fact for you guys :) Juneteenth is actually the day African Americans got freedom (; ) so Liberty is on summer break. Lois and Daniel are going on a cruise. So today is the day they leave. Liberty is now in her room watching TV.
~6:45 p.m~
"We're leaving now Liberty." Daniel told her.
"Okay, bye daddy. Tell mommy I said bye too, kay?" she calls them mommy and daddy because she called her real parents momma and dad.
"Alright." He said leaving.
~6 weeks later~
Liberty is watching TV in the living room. All of a sudden breaking news comes on.
"What in the-" Liberty starts
The tv man starts to talk, " Breaking news their was a bad storm yesterday, well it crossed over and hit a cruise ship on its way to the Bahamas,"
"Oh my god, that's where mommy and daddy were going!"
"It hit the ship badly and now we are trying to find survivors. News over." Liberty broke down.
"Not again, why do I keep losing my parents lord.  Please let them make it Lord. Please lord god. Please lord. I beg of you, let them be safe.

She's been on her own ever since then............
