The Hoodings Twins ➳ Cake

Luke and Calum were tangled up together on their couch. All snuggled up in sweats and hoodies with their rings gleaming on their fingers. The newly weds felt like they were on top of the world.

"Luke?" Calum whispered against his husbands cheek

"Hmm?" Luke hummed in response

"Now that we're married. I was thinking.." he trailed off

"What is it?" Luke looked up at him

"No it's silly. Don't worry" Calum shook his head

"Awh c'mon tell me!" Luke sat up and faced him

"It's just that y'know. We're a-a family now" he looked down his cheeks heating up "So what if we like made our family...just a tiny bit bigger?" he waited for a reaction

"Calum. A baby? Wow" Luke breathed and hesitated

"Silly idea I know" Calum sighed slumping down

"I'd love that" Luke blurted out

"Really?" Calum's face lit up

Luke grabbed his face and kissed him.

Calum pulled away "So when-"

He was interrupted when Luke kissed him again "Don't ruin the moment"

"How can I help you two fellas?" the nurse sat down in front of them when they were called in by the doctors

"Erm, we wanted a baby? Yeah" Luke smiled

"This is why I love this job" the nurse sighed "Able to help couples make families. Anyway how exciting!"

She handed both the boys a form "I'll need you two to fill these out and then we'll talk yeah?"

-10 months later-

"Hey baby boy" Calum cooed to the small bundle in his arms

"Wow look at us" Luke chuckled holding a matching blue bundle "We're actually dads"

"I know" Calum grinned

"Welcome Hunter Colin Hoodings and Hayden Cameron Hoodings"

"How about we put a letter above their cots so we can tell which is which" Calum suggested

"You're such an idiot" Luke dead panned

"Why..?" he asked

"Their names both begin with a H!" Luke laughed

"Oh yeah" he laughed as well

Since they both looked exactly the same, they were trying to figure out a system to tell them apart.

"That's it" Calum stomped off and came back with both babies before lying them both on the floor next to eachother "Can you see any difference?" he asked

They both knelt by them as the babies looked up at them in awe.

"Well.." Luke trailed off "I see no difference"

"They're gonna use this against us when they're older aren't they?" Calum mumbled

"I think so"

Suddenly the one closest to Calum softly kicked him in the nose. "I think this ones Hunter"

"Yeah this ones Hayden, he can't take his eyes off me" Luke moved his head a few times and the babies eyes followed aswell

They had learnt their personalities at the hospital when Hunter peed on the nurse and Hayden clung to Luke like a koala and cried when he was put down.

"Is this it? We be able to tell if they kick us or if they stare at us?" Calum asked with disbelief

"Looks like it" Luke nodded
