~Dragon breathing 龍の呼こ吸 (Ryū no kokyū)
Most Japanese dragons are water deities associated with rainfall and bodies of water, and are typically depicted as large, wingless, serpentine creatures with clawed feet.
In Japanese folklores and legends, it is also believed that Watatsumi (海神) "sea god" or Ryūjin (龍神) "dragon god" was the ruler of seas and oceans, and described as a dragon capable of changing into human form. He lived in the undersea Ryūgū-jō 龍宮城 "dragon palace castle", where he kept the magical tide jewels.
First Form • rain 壱ノ型 • 雨 (Ichi no Kata • ame) A series of quick and concentrated stabs and slashes that resemble the rain, accompanied with low, guttural vibrations.
Second form • storm 弐ノ型 • 嵐 (Ni no Kata • arashi) Circular slashes that create a tornado like gust, accompanied by the sound of howling wind.
Third form • tsunami 参ノ型 • 津波 (San no Kata • tsunami) Fastest out of all forms, a single slash from above, accompanied with a loud clang.
Forth form • Kanju 肆ノ型 • 干珠 (Shi no Kata • Kanju) A magical gem the sea god used to control tides in Japanese mythology. Legend has it that the sea god presented the kanju and manju to his demigod son-in-law Hoori. Empress Jingū later used the tide jewels to conquer Korea. Kanju was the "tide-ebbing jewel".
This form is dance-like, relies mostly on footwork. Distances oneself from the opponent(s) like the receding tide, attack when unexpected (combined with explosives).
Fifth form • Manju 伍ノ型 • 満珠 (Go no Kata • Manju) The other magical gem that the sea god used to control tides in Japanese mythology. The opposite of Kanju (the "tide-flowing jewel")
This form is also dance-like, relies heavily on footwork. Draws close to opponent(s) like the advancing tide, attack when the right moment arrives (also combined with explosives)
Final form • Ryūjin 終ノ型 • 龍神 (Tsui no kata • Ryūjin) This form requires precise footwork, swinging with body weight to generate powerful attacks that represent the chomping of a dragon. It creates vibrations that can shatter wood in the surrounding air. This technique dangers the user because it may deafen the user.
