Chapter 1

I was soaked.

Like standing out in the middle of a thunderstorm soaked. At least I'm almost home. I thought to myself.

As I reached the front gate leading to the beautiful house I noticed a new car in the driveway. Looks like we have guest.

As I walked inside the maid, Celia, gasped as she saw me.

"What happened?!" Celia asked surprised to see me soaked to the bone.

"Oh nothing much, just got caught in the middle of a storm" I lied.

"Ooooh really. The forecast doesn't show any storms for at least another three to five days."

As I look past Celia I see my older brothers, Derrick, Red, and Leo. They were all looking at me expectantly hoping for an explanation.

"So what happened?"Red asked looking at me.

"The-" Just as I was about to start my dad walked in the room with three men behind him.

I examined the three men all of them were tall and muscular, almost like they work out everyday. All of them were wearing black button up shirts with a red tie, black jeans, and black combat boots.

Then my eyes drifted to my father he was wearing his usual business suit, seeing as he was a well known business man. Although as I examined more his suit was wrinkled, and his eyes were bloodshot, almost like he was crying.

"Oh, hello dear. How was sch- What happened to your uniform!?!" My father yelled.

"Ummmm.... I was just about to get into that" I said quietly. Everybody was quuet wating for me to speak about my day at school. "Ok so you know how those girls have been giving me problems right?" I started.

They all gave me tight nods. "Well after I got through with my last class I had to use the bathroom, so I went. When I got through and tried to get out the stall door was stuck. And as I was figeting with the door a girl dumped a bucket of mop water on me. They then let me out."

When I looked up I saw all of them gaping at me. "I can always get the uniform dry cleaned and wear my old one if I have to," I added quietly.

"I hate to break to you sis, but you grew in more ways than one over summer, so I dont think that uniform is gonna fit you," I hear Leo say.

Celia came back with a towel and handed it to me. "Thank you. I think I'm going to go take a shower so I dont smell like mop water anymore."

"Actually.... You'll have to wait for that." I hear my dad say.

"Why?" I ask and then as I examined my brothers they look sad and angry. Then the butler came back carrying my suitcases. "What are you doing with those?" With that my youngest brother Red walks up to me and wraps me in a hug.

"Lilian you know how I have a drinking and a gambling problem?" My father starts. "Well I went out with a couple of friends about a month ago and I ran out of money to play with.... So I bet you. Many of the men agreed when they saw pictures of you and I thought I had it in the bag and then he came and offered me so much money in exchange of you if he won.... He won."

I wasn't breathing properly. No. No he didnt do that, its a joke. Whats todays date? I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. It said the date was April 1st. This is just some cruel prank, and those are some of their college friends.

"Breathe Lils. I know its a lot to take in, but just breathe." I hear Red whisper in my ear.

"Its a joke right?" I ask him my voice sounding shakey.

"I wish it was." With those words I lost it. I started trembling and hyperventilating."Leo go find her anxiety medicine. Breathe Lils."

"What about school? Why didnt he tell me sooner? Will I be able to come home again?" I asked Red question after question. With that Red pulled away and grabbed me by the shoulders he looked at me and he started talking. I couldnt hear anything all I saw was his lips moving. Thats when I saw blackness start surrounding my vision.

Then everything went black.
