jungkook's pov
I wake up to a sudden tightness in my chest, my arms constricted. I glanced behind me to see jimin hugging me from behind. his legs were wrapped around my waist, clinging onto me like a koala.
"get up," he commanded, but I didn't budge. it was a Saturday morning, and there's no reason for me to be up by 11 am.
he started tightening his grip, both on my chest and my waist, "oh my gosh, jimin go to your miNA,"
"she's probably sleeping in, she hasn't seen my good morning text,"
"let me sleep in, jimin,"
"tzuyu texted you,"
that single phrase was enough to jolt me awake, quickly rising from my bed as soon as I heard her name. how I reacted when I forget that it was the day a favourite artist of mine drops a music video.
"what?"
jimin gave me my phone which he reached from my side table,
I read her message that was sent a few minutes ago and I started to pull away from jimin, getting off my bed as fast as I could.
I was relieved. after a week and a half or so, she was leaving. and I felt ecstatic, as if a heavy burden had finally been lifted.
the distance that formed between tzuyu and I,
will be closed. once and for all.

author's pov
the sound of the doorbell resonated the house. yemi and tzuyu both give each other a stare. the latter was helping the other pack, since she found a job at the local coffee shop, and an apartment unit that offered cheap rent. tzuyu was reluctant in letting her go, mildly concerned about yemi's mental health, she still hasn't opened up to her since that day, and she worried if she was going to be alright.
despite how awful yemi's remarks were on the first day, and how it somewhat irritated tzuyu when yemi brought up jungkook differently, tzuyu still observed her from a far, even with the wall she had around her. even with the silence.
"that was fast," tzuyu uttered, standing up from the floor, she thought of jungkook as she walked down the flight of stairs, yemi followed behind.
she paused before opening the door. "he would have called me first. the guards aren't here to open the gates.."
with slight suspicion, she opens the door, revealing someone who wasn't jungkook.
he didn't tower over tzuyu, who was a few inches smaller than him. his red hair ruffled, looking disheveled. he wore a white muscle tee that revealed a couple of tattoos that run along his right bicep. he looked intimidating with his glowering eyes and a slit on his right eyebrow. his whole fit made him look like a gang member.
although his arms were a tad scrawny, it wasn't thin or bulky but toned just right. he had a fairly muscular built, but not as fair and strong-looking like jungkook's
as tzuyu stared at him in bewilderment, she heard yemi's soft gasp. the girl who had been beside her hides behind, as if scared of the man who appeared.
she turned to look, and on the ground, yemi crumbled, her knees collapsed, tears lingering in her eyes.
"so this was where you were hiding-" the man attempted to come in but tzuyu outstretched her right arm to the gap in the door frame, blocking his entrance,
