"finish up quickly so we can hike and see the sunset from atop!!" nayeon alarms everyone, finishing her meal. seokjin protests as he removes all kinds of meat from the grill to his plate,

"must enjoy food first," he says,

"no wonder you're slow, haha because you're aging," nayeon retorts hiding behind momo who was peacefully eating her lettuce wrap with pork belly meat, beef belly slices,, a couple of side dishes; radish and kimchi all in one bite.

the meat they brought were cooked in a grill, the side-dishes, carefully packaged in a cooler to avoid spoiling, and some store-brought snacks, and fruits on the side.

"nayeon shut up, we're the same age," seokjin rolled his eyes at her. before the two could bicker like they normally do, tzuyu shoves a pineapple piece in nayeon's mouth, and jungkook does the same to seokjin, shushing their two eldest up.

the rest ate with delight, eagerly feasting on their own graduation celebration banquet. it was the youngest who had graduated, the eldest who had already been in the first year of university tagged along. since last year, the group had also celebrated their graduation, but at a buffet, and an amusement park.

this year, nayeon, seokjin, jihyo, daniel, namjoon, yoongi, momo, hoseok and jeongyeon pretended to graduate.

they ate heartily, bringing up memories from their high school years, both embarassing and memorable.

"remember when seokjin-hyung was trying to act cool when he was accepting his diploma last year, tried to blow a kiss at us but ended up tripping-,"

"WE DO NOT SPEAK OF THAT."

"okay, but when someone confessed to tzuyu, and jUNGKOOK.. where did he get his confidence???? where had he been hiding it????" dahyun commented, and everyone adjusted their places on their seats, nodding, "ah I remember that!"

a week after tzuyu and jungkook were dating, mark, oblivious of their relationship had confessed to jungkook's girlfriend.

not only did jungkook pull tzuyu away from the scene, intercepting his confession, jungkook kissed her in front of him. when finished, he asked, "have you been living under a rock? ask yugyeom."

tzuyu apologized after his interception, but mark was obviously stunned by how manly jungkook was. instead of bringing his spirits down, he developed a small admiration for him, completely forgetting that he liked tzuyu.

it had turned him into a jungkook fanboy, and a tzukook shipper.

"that was so embarrassing.." tzuyu mumbles chuckling at the thought, the fact that mark made a scene in front of many people, and jungkook KISSED her not only in front of mark but others... his confidence was off the chart.

seokjin did a chef-kiss like gesture, "was blessed to see that unravel in front of me,"

"when momo and hoseok finally got detention for sneaking out.." taehyung snickers,

"we wanted to check you guys again in the gym but we actually got caught," momo admits, chuckling after,

"can we talk about me and momo BARELY passing high school and getting into a decent university?" hoseok commented, "whO acTUaLLy stUdiES???"

all had turn to look at namjoon, yoongi and jihyo who quietly observed,

they carried on recalling the past while hiking. it was a short 10 minute climb that didn't require much physical exertion in ascending steeply. it wasn't too tiresome and everyone had arrived at the elevated area in time for the sun to disappear below.
