"Lilli, you better meet me in five minutes or I will have your license suspended."
"Okay." The brunette rolled her eyes, chuckling slightly before checking out her surroundings. It was early morning. Normally people would enjoy this atmosphere however the female found it detestable. Looks like it will be alright now.
Any sane person, had they witnessed her next set of actions, would have been convinced that she was not normal and indeed she was not.
She jumped onto the roof of one building and then another till she arrived at her destination - Dark Dusk Cafe. The cafe was vast yet cozy, bustling yet secluded and emitting a look that resembled dawn and ?
Climbing down, the female jumped on a male's back as he fell down. Not moving, she said "So still suspending my license? It took me 2 minutes 48 seconds to reach here, cousin."
"Lillian" The male groaned "Must you be so cruel? No, I won't suspend your license and get off me now."
"Apologize."
"Fine. I apologize to Queen Lillian Hellsing."
"Apology accepted, Prince Abraxas."
The male, in his twenties got up with her help as he looked at her. It had been only a few months but she had grown so much. He could see the wandering and admiring eyes of people around them. They made a good pair.
With Abraxas's raven black hair, electric blue eyes and lean figure, he was perhaps, one of the most attractive males in Shadow Creek. Lillian's coffee brown hair, bottle green eyes which looked like emeralds at times and soft mannerisms allowed her to catch the hearts of many. If one wasn't aware of their relationship, this would indeed look like a secret rendezvous to them.
As it did to one mysterious black hooded figure in the alleyway, next to the cafe. Said figure took a photograph and disappeared in thin air, as if they were never there.
Lillian who had already ordered Rax's favorite frappe and a cold coffee for herself was now listening to Fix You by Coldplay on her iPod. Rax sat across her before giving her a file that was labelled - CLASSIFIED. AGENTS - BEAR AND NIGHTINGALE.
"Hm, great. We can work with this. Let us start tomorrow. You should visit your mother. Astrid keeps telling me about the wondrous methods of torture she has planned for me."
"Very well. Stay safe, Lillis. The world is a dangerous place."
"Don't I know it? You stay safe too, Rax."
Sighing, Lillian went her separate way thinking about him. I wish he would open up a little more to me. I wish I could help him, Anastasia. Oh why did you have to die, darling? We are all broken now. She came to a halt as she noticed a girl, her back pressed against the wall, her face hidden in her arms as her figure shook from light sobbing. The girl couldn't have been more than 16 - a highschooler.
Probably a breakup. I can't just ignore her so time for the cure.
Buying a tub of chocolate chip ice cream, she sat next to the weeping girl, handing her the tub.
"Eat. You will feel better."
"T-Thank you..."
After a while, Lillian couldn't help but appreciate her features. Perfect blonde hair, electric blue eyes - modern barbie - yeah, she looked like her. Like those perfect models on magazines and only one thought came to her mind - How much did this child suffer to live a perfect life?
Perhaps this was it. The very moment Tragedy began to love Creation.
"I am Scarlet Rose Midnight. It is nice to meet you." The blonde smiled sweetly at the elder female who nodded.
"Lillian Hellsing and yes, it is nice to meet you. So now mind telling me what's up?"
"My boyfriend, James--he cheated on me...it is always like this. It never works out."
"I shall murder him, if that's what you want."
"Haha, thank you but let's not." Scarlet laughed softly wiping her face as she finished her tub.
"It is getting late. Let me drive you home."
Lillian stood leaning against her Impala, gazing at Scarlet and her six siblings as they crowded around her as soon as she knocked at the door of the manor. Smiling, she drove towards her own home as she went straight to bed.
I wish I had her life.
That was the last thought that ran through her mind as sleep took over her.
