Wherever you are planted, bloom with grace. 

Lillian smiled as her phone lit up. She and Scarlet had exchanged numbers and had been texting each other for the past few days. 

Scarlet - Lilli! What are you doing?

Lillian - Scarlet ^^ Just finishing up work. What's up?

Scarlet - Wanna hang out? :D I have some time ^^

Lillian - Yay and sure- :D Where should we meet?

Scarlet - Are you at NYPD?

Lillian - Yup-

Scarlet - I will reach there in 10 minutes. Ryuki is with me so he will give me a lift, he said. 

Lillian - Nice and alright. See you in 10 then :3

Scarlet - Okie! :3

Lillian - owo

Lillian turned towards Rax with a sweet smile. Rax glared at her "What did you do now?"

Lillian chuckled, "Nothing. Scarlet is coming. I just want to hang out with her so I know I can trust you to finish my work."

"Lillis, you know that I am your boss, correct."

"Unfortunately, I am very well aware of that."

"And yet you- ha. Very well. This one time only. Leave." The male shook his head before going back to his own work. Lillian simply thanked him and packed her things. Just as she stepped out, something engulfed her or well at least tried to. The female chuckled softly before hugging Scarlet back and ruffling her hair. 

"Was your trip safe?"

"Yes. Where should we go?"

"How about ice cream and Dark Dusk Cafe?"

"Dark Dusk Cafe?"

"Mhm, the best cafe ever. Don't tell me you never visited it?" 

"No?-"

Horror and disbelief painted over Lillian's face before she literally dragged her to the cafe, which was a ten minutes walk from her office. 

"I truly can't believe you have never been here."

Scarlet gave  a soft laugh, "Me too. This place is heaven truly."

"Indeed. So Scar, you never told me last time. Where did your family move from?"

"Alictair."

"I see. I apologize."

"It is fine. Yours?"

"Everywhere."

"Explain, Lilli."

Lillian smiled softly before speaking, "On the Midnight sky, she will rise."

Scarlet continued, her eyes wide from horror and amazement, "Taking back what is hers."

"Leaving nothing but destruction in her wake."

"Until she finds her purpose again."

"Saddening tale of a lost woman."

"Then again."

"What else can one expect from Tragedy itself?"

"S-So you truly are-" Scarlet stammered for once. 

"Yes. No need to be scared. I won't harm you."

"I am not but Lilli, you told me something that grave that fast."

"Of course I did, Creation."

"You know."

"I knew it from the moment we met."

"I see..." She bit into her chocolate cake as she mulled over this recent revelation. 

The brunette stayed quiet as well, simply enjoying her frappe. She knew it would take some time for Scarlet to adjust but it shouldn't be too hard. She stood up - "Come. I will drive you home. I need to meet someone it seems."

The girl simply nodded, following after Lillian. Soon enough, they were in front of the Midnight Manor. They exchanged a simple goodnight, the air around them tense enough to be sliced by a knife. Unknown to Scarlet, Lillian was hiding in the shadows, waiting. 

A man with ash white hair and ruby red eyes came into view after a short while. Ryuki Midnight. 

"You came."

"What did you need?" asked the male. 

"Adopt me into the Midnight family."

After a little hesitation the male nodded, "Very well."

"Wonderful. Good night, big brother."

With that said, Lillian Hellsing - no - Lillian Hellsing Midnight went back to the Elysium. 

If only she had turned back now. 

A lily and a rose. Two Midnight flowers. Tragedy and Creation. Who will bloom and who will wilt away?
