Scar this, Scar that. All these selfish fools do is ask me for more and more. Scarlet sighed as she responded to both the questions. After breakfast, she got in her car and drove off to Clockwork Academy. Yeah, weird name, she thought as she kept looking around for Lillian.
Another day, another fake smile, another hell served today. May the Gods give me strength to enact out this perfect act.
Finally, class began as the precious flower of the Midnights put on a sweet smile, enduring yet another day of torture.

Coffee. My savior, thought Lillian as she stepped inside the NYPD office.
"Detective Hellsing! Good morning. The boss is asking for you."
"Oh hey Lilli. Take over my case. It is my anniversary. "
"Lillis! Think you can babysit my son tomorrow?"
Jeez, give me a break. I swear these selfish fools always ask for more. I wonder what Rax wants.
Smiling softly and giving an affirmative nod for all the demands, Lillian made her way inside the precinct towards Abraxas's office.
"Boss, you called?"
"Lillis, you don't need to call me that. There's a case for you. A homicide. Congratulations on another month of victories."
"Thank you. Whom will I be assisting?"
"Vesper, Hawk, Falcon and Wolf will be assigned to you."
"Wait, to me? Are you saying that?-----"
"Congratulations, Detective Hellsing. You are one step closer to achieving your dreams. You will be leading this investigation. Report back to me at the end of the week. Dismissed."
A faint smiled graced the stoic features of the Frost King.

Nodding, Lillian smiled in return before leaving.
Another day, another fake smile but an opportunity today. May the fallen primordial of Luck give me strength to enact out this perfect act.
