The last two weeks of rehearsals had flown by and now we were on the bus on our way to Nationals I was so excited to dance my duet with Daniel, once we arrived at the venue for Nationals we made our way over to the registration desk where we were given the schedule for Nationals and there was also a party tonight before the competition started properly tomorrow.
Once we'd registered we all went over to the hotel where we were staying and dropped off our bags, myself, Michelle and Emily were sharing a room. After unpacking we all headed back to the venue for our rehearsal slot we started off by seeing Eldon's solo, and then the small group and mine and Daniel's duet once we'd finished rehearsals we all went back to the hotel Daniel stopped me and said 'Are you going to the party tonight'.
I nodded and said 'Yeah I'm just heading back to my room to get ready, I'll meet you there' Daniel kissed me on the cheek and said 'Will you dance with me tonight' I nodded and said 'Yes of-course I will Daniel', I made my way back to my hotel room and instantly started panicking about what I was going to wear. Michelle walked over and said 'Riley what's wrong' I walked over to the wardrobe and said 'Daniel wants to slow dance at the party tonight I don't know what to wear, or how to do my make-up' Emily came out of the bathroom and said 'Riley calm down we will help you, I think you should wear that Burgundy dress with the black lace and your black heels. With some beautiful drop earrings and minimal make-up'.

After getting dressed Michelle and Emily helped me with my make-up and finally I was ready to go and meet Daniel at the party.
Daniel's POV:
I was sat nervously at one of the small tables waiting for Riley and the others to arrive West walked over and said 'You look nervous what's wrong' I smiled and said 'I'm just waiting for Riley, I'm planning on asking her to be my girlfriend and I'm just abit nervous that's all', West smiled back at me and said 'Well I don't think you'll have long to wait, she's here'.
I turned around and saw Riley walk in with Emily and the other girls she looked absolutely beautiful I walked over and said 'You look amazing Riley', after a while we all gathered on the dance floor and listened to Shawn Desman we also danced as-well.
After the concert people started leaving Riley walked over to me and said 'Shall we dance' I nodded and said 'Absolutely' I couldn't imagine that this would ever happen to me but as me and Riley slow danced on the dance floor I couldn't help but smile. The duet section of Nationals came round so quickly myself and Riley met Miss Kate early at the venue for our rehearsal slot as we pulled off the last lift in our routine Miss Kate smiled and said 'I think we have a really good chance of getting through to the solo round, you two look fantastic together' I looked at Riley and said 'Thank you Miss Kate, oh Riley I've got something for you'.
