[ Option 1) go to the front of the school ]

You decided to not waste time and started rushing to the front of the school.

When you got to the courtyard, you saw people rushing out of the school. You didn't know why but your legs started moving on their own and you started following them out of the school. It took you some time but you eventually reached the end of the bridge and saw your clan members in the distance. You were out of breath by then but you still gave in your last strength and met up with Izumo and the others.

"(Y/N)! Where were you?!" Izumo asked with worry when he saw you running towards him.

"Kusanagi-san! Where is Mikoto?!" You said as you ran up to him. Out of breath and head dizzy, you almost collapsed but Izumo had caught you in time.

"(Y/N) , calm down. Mikoto will be fine." He sat you down and held onto you while you recovered.

After regaining your strength, you looked towards the school and saw four Swords of Damocles. Worry and fear was swirling inside you but you knew you couldn't do anything at this moment.

A loud explosion caught everyone's attention and you watched with tearful eyes as two Swords of Damocles disappeared. Only two remained, out of them you recognised Mikoto's one but your stomach dropped when you saw Mikoto's Sword of Damocles falling. You rushed to your foot and wanted to run forward but Izumo's hand on your shoulder stopped you.

You were expecting another loud explosion but it didn't come. You waited there with a pounding heart. Soon the sun started setting and snow started falling.

Nothing.

There was no response.

You didn't want to admit it but you knew what had happened.

Mikoto was gone.

Tears started streaming down your face as you broke into loud sobs.

You flinched when you felt a slight pain where your insignia was and saw that it was glowing. A red orb of light came out from it and started vanishing into the sky.

There was a moment of silence, before you heard Rikio's voice.

"No blood! No bone! No ash!"

Soon after, everyone started chanting it. You chanted along, wiping your tears with your sleeves.

"No blood! No bone! No ash!" You yelled at the top of your lungs. You had to be strong for Mikoto.

You wiped your tears and looked up at the sky.

Thank you Mikoto, for being the best King there ever was. But most importantly, for being the person that showed me so much love and happiness.

I love you Mikoto and I will forever.
