20. Festival

You woke up next morning completely nude but the warmth of the covers over you kept you safe from a cold. The sunlight peeking through the curtains fell upon your eyes; you kept your eyes shut to prevent the burning sensation.

After a minute or two, you slowly sat up and looked to your side to see a sleeping Mikoto. Last night's activities rushed to your mind and you instantly turned red. Your squirming  woke up Mikoto and he turned around and opened his eyes to reveal those amber irises that you loved so dearly.

"Morning." Mikoto's husky and deep morning voice sent a chill up your spine and you turned more red. Mikoto noticed that and let out a chuckle. He spread his arms out, signaling you to come in his embrace which you did wholeheartedly. You snuggled upto his broad muscular torso, pressing your warm cheek to his equally warm chest.

"Good morning." You replied back, wrapping your arms tighter around him.

You two stayed like that for some time before you tilted your head up and looked at Mikoto.

"So, what are the plans for today?" You asked.

"Even though I just wanna stay in bed with you all day, Izumo said something about a summer festival tonight."

When Mikoto said that, your ears perked up.

"A summer festival!? That sounds fun!" You exclaimed excitedly, sounding like a little child. Your positive response made Mikoto smile.

"So I'm guessing you are picking the festival over us in bed?" Mikoto teased you and you poked your tongue out at him.

"Yes!"

"A summer festival?" Kamamoto asked, his mouth filled with food.

"Yes, it will be held tonight at the local shrine here. It's a good tourist spot so I think it will be fun to visit" Izumo explained. Everyone made a 'oh' sound to express their agreement.

You and everyone else was currently eating breakfast, discussing what other plans could be made to make the summer trip fun and memorable.

"Oh! There is also a really good hot springs here! We should definitely go there!" Chitose exclaimed rather too excitedly.

"You're just saying that to snoop in on girls bathing, you perv!" Shohei yelled accusingly at Chitose.

"D-Definitely not! Me and my bro Yō we are true gentlemen. We just wanna enjoy the steamy waters and the cool summer night breeze. Isn't that right bro!?" Bandō sided with Chitose, both having the same eagerness.

"Exactly bro!" Chitose replied and the two did a bro hug which made everyone laugh.

"Well if you boys can behave, I'll add hot springs to the list too." Izumo said,  much to the two boys' delight.

"And done!" You exclaimed as you finished fixing the Obi of Anna's Kimono, a bright smile on your face. The two of you had worn Kimonos and you guessed that the boys will wear one too.

Anna's Kimono was a white one with red flowers while your one was (F/C).
You also did your and Anna's hair in an elegant updo and wore matching accessories.

"It's almost time, we should go to the lobby to meet up with the others" you said to Anna to which she nodded.

After making some finishing touches, You walked out of the room with Anna, her small hand in yours as you made your way to the lobby.

The bright lights from various stalls and the traditional music greeted you when you reached the shrine located at the top of a small mountain.
