11. Thunder

Let's watch horror movies, they said.

"AAAAAHHHH!!!"

It would be fun, they said.

"wHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!!! AAAAAH!!"

"Nope! NopE! I'm Outta here!!"

"Don't be a pussy Shouhei!!! Get back here!"

"I did not sign up for this!!"

"Guys...i think Yata-san is gonna get a heart attack."

"I'm fine!- AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"

"GOD HELP ME!!"

"Kill me."

"I SWEAR TO GOD I HATE ALL OF YOU!!!"

Thus two hours of movie watching went something like that. The whole bar was filled with screams and shouts from the members of Homra. You too were one of the screamers but the girlish screams did not come from your mouth. Rather, it came from the vanguard of Homra, Misaki Yata. Even if he was the one who was screaming the most, it was entirely his fault anyways.

A few hours ago, Misaki and Bando had gotten into an argument about something stupid that you didn't pay much attention to. But somehow it led to proving their courage and the topic of Misaki being the most scardy cat in the clan came up. The skater boy refused with a pink face but Bando being Bando challenged Misaki to watch a super scary horror film. Misaki being the impulsive person he was accepted the challenge without thinking of the consequences.

The other boys thought it would be cool to watch a scary movie together, especially because it was already dark outside. You yourself weren't that fond of horror movies, heck you were terrified of them. (I'm sorry if you aren't, please just go with it) you got horrible nightmares whenever you watched horror films but somehow you got tangled into their stupid ideas once more.

At first all the boys except for Misaki were boasting about their manliness and how they weren't scared of anything but now they all were about to piss their pants. The movie was so scary that you were sure your horror movie obsessed cousin would also be scared of it. Compared to her, you were a tiny chick who just hatched. Even Anna wasn't scared when she passed by to get a glass of water. Mikoto had gone upstairs to sleep, not wanting to be a part of the commotion. Izumo continued the daily maintainance of his bar, paying no attention to the childish adults.

After two long hours of screaming, shouting, throwing popcorn around, the movie finally ended and you felt like you could finally breathe. But chills still ran up and down your spine and you felt like constantly looking over your shoulder to check if anything was watching you.

While the other boys recovered from the fear and got out of the couches and started stretching or cleaning themselves off of popcorn, you and Misaki sat frozen on your spot.

Yep, I'm gonna get nightmares tonight for sure.

One part of you tried to lighten the mood but you knew perfectly well how horrible it was gonna be at night. You slowly got up, feeling your knees shake a bit but still managed to stand still. You took a small peek towards Misaki to see that indeed his soul had left his body and his skin was white.

"Oh you guys are finally done with that movie. How was it?" Izumo asked as he walked over. All the guys instantly started playing cool, like it was no big deal.

"Eh, the movie was okay. Wasn't that scary anyways" Chitose spoke smoothly.

"Yeah, that's why you were all screaming like little girls. Isn't that right Totsuka?" Izumo crossed his arms and smirked as he looked over to Totsuka who started showing everyone the recording he made during the movie.
