JEALOUSY ISN'T *THAT* UGLY
They always said that jealousy was ugly, or an ugly trait to have. Kyle already thought he was ugly enough but having added his enormous amount of jealousy towards the fatass, metaphorically made him uglier than ever. He couldn't even comprehend the amount of jealousy aimed at Cartman or recall whenever it began. Out of nowhere, he just envied him for everything he was and everything he did.
It was the fact that Cartman could get away with basically anything with little to no consequences. Or, how he was able to speak with so much authority without having any real power. Another, when he could talk to girls so freely— whether or not he got rejected, Kyle was jealous of how easy it was for him to just pick up a conversation, and even then, when he was rejected, he played it off so well, another thing to tick off the jealous Kyle.
"—And then I set his lunch on fire, can you believe that? Kahl! Are you even listening to meh? God, I wish Kenny could hang right now because you're real fucking lame, Kahl," Cartman rants off to the already fuming ginger.
"How many fucking years will it take for you to get my name right, fatass! It's KY-LE, not fucking KA-HL," Kyle mocks Cartman's voice and shoves him by the bigger boy's shoulder. Cartman gasps and makes an attempt to shove him back, but Kyle pushes him once more with more force and Cartman falls to the snowy ground beneath him.
"Fuck you, Kahl! What the hell did I even do to you, asshole?"
"What did you do to me? What the fuck didn't you do!?" Kyle groans in frustration, "You always do things in spite of me not being able to do them and to top it off, you rub that shit in my face!"
"You are so jealous," Cartman snickers to himself, riling up Kyle how he does so well, "I didn't even want to hang with you, Kahl, you were a second choice!"
"So were you, jackass! Stan is on a date with Wendy and Kenny has to watch Karen, so that makes you a third choice!"
"Nuh-uh! Kenny's out fucking bitches! And where's your girlfriend, Kahl? You don't have one?" He teases, watching as the other boy's face turns a deep red presumably out of anger building up.
"Where's yours, fatass? All of the girls you talk to and you can't get one to go out with you?" Kyle fires back quickly, too quick, which takes Cartman by surprise. His roar of laughter angers Kyle even more, "What the fuck are you laughing about?"
"You're just mad that I can talk to girls and you can't!" Cartman throws his head back and laughs loudly once again, "You're so jealous and it's fucking hilar—" He's cut off by Kyle punching him square in the jaw. Cartman falls out of seat and scrambled to his feet quickly to gather himself from the blow. "What the fuck was that for?"
Kyle doesn't answer him and instead launches himself at the other boy with his fists raised. His plan to tackle Cartman and throw one punch after another falters as Eric grabs both of Kyle's fists and takes him down with him. Cartman lands with his back to the ground, and Kyle lays atop of him awkwardly in his hold. "Let me go, fatass!" He shrieks, noticing how oddly close their faces were from the fall together.
Cartman, however, doesn't respond and only stares into Kyle's bright green eyes. He entranced with how beautiful he really is, despite calling him ugly many times in a single day. Cartman lets out a low chuckle and breathes out a sigh, "You've always been a little beautiful, Kyle," he pronounces everything clearly for once and not in a mocking or demeaning tone, "And that jealously isn't that ugly now that I can see how close it's bringing us." He wiggles his eyebrows, throwing off the ginger boy.
Kyle shakes his wrists out of Cartman's grasp and moves to sit beside him on the ground. He props his arms onto his knees and calmly studies the bigger boy as he admired him, "You better not be fucking with me."
"Man, I wish," Cartman winks. Kyle lets out a sharp laugh and shoves him by the shoulder playfully. "No but seriously, I kind of like you. Like, like like you, Kyle."
"I may need time, but I'm willing." That was all Kyle needed to say to please Cartman. He hesitantly takes the hand of the green eyed boy and laces his fingers with his. They sit together silently as nothing more needed to be said, and they enjoyed each other's company for once.
