I come back to the office. I just reached my desk, and...

"Ah! Xiao Zhan! Can you come into my office and bring the documents I've asked you?" Mr. Don appears at his room's doorway.

I who feels guilty for leaving my work halfway and don't expect he is in the office already, startled.

"Aahhh...." The word that comes out if my mouth. And I nod.

Without asking anymore, Mr. Don goes back into his room, closing the door with a bang. I flinch.

"I think he's not happy that you left your table, Flower Boy!" He Peng the bastard sneers.

I glare at him and huff. I collect the stuff Mr. Don asks me and walk to his office.

"Flower Boy! Beware! He might eats you up inside there! I think I find a jelly fish is swimming around?" He Peng shouts quietly then he laughs.

The most annoying man in the office. He's more annoying than Zhuo Cheng.
I knock on the door. Without waiting for the "come in" sound, I push the door open and enter the office.

"Sir?" I walk to Mr. Don's table.

Mr. Don stops signing the agreement forms. He puts his pen down and pulls the documents I placed in front of him. He opens the files and examinates them.

"When the last time you rearrange the documents? " He asks without looking at me.

"3 months ago, Sir. We usually do it every three months....!" I answer.

"Is there any debtors who got stuck with their loans ?" He asks again, still without pay a glance at me.

"Err... So far they are ok. Some only late to pay for a couple months, but they usually make the payment immediately after we send the reminder letter...!"

He closes the files and look up at me now. He smirks. Not a friendly one, I know. It's sarcastically.

"Xiao Zhan.... We can't let them do that. Pay anytime they please. When they got the reminder they will pay , and how about if we don't send them the reminder? Leave their loans unpaid??" Mr. Don looks pissed. His face turns very fierce.

"I.... I'm sorry, Sir....!" I lower my head.

" Don't say sorry and lower your head! How can you be able to be a leader if you doing that? You have to be firm to them, Xiao Zhan! It's all about the money! We lend them the money and they have to return ot to us!  Please, don't be too soft! I know you're a kind person, but don't do that in work...!"

"Yes, Sir!" I raise my head. I want to cry honestly. The previous manager never scold me before. She was very good to me and willingly and patiently guided me to do my work.

He heaves a heavy sigh and shakes his head. He continues with the documents. I still standing next to his table.

"Have you found the materials for your content on your channel?" He asks, unexpectedly.

"Uh?" I was puzzle.

Mr. Don glanced at me, then he chuckles.

"I also watch your YT channel sometimes. It's kinda interesting. Especially the host....!" He says.

I smile sheepishly, but then it disappears.

I stare at him who focusing on the docs. I tilt my head. Does he say that I'm interesting? Huh? Does he flirting with me now? He just scolded me just now! What the heck?? It can't be happening...! Cannot! I mean... He is my boss. What does he flirting with me for? He likes men, too? Oh, boy! Not again.... 😟😟.
