Backstory: She was part of the army that fought in the gem war. In training before she left to fight in the war, she was picked on naturally. This jasper with a staff wanted a stronger weapon and dominance in a fusion so she did a whole Lapis and Jasper thing with Red, and because Red is a defect, she had no control over the fusion, pushed back and viewing everything only.
The war then started for her as she was sent out to battle, the same jasper came back and fused with her only for the jasper to be struck in the gem, they unfused and the jaspers gem shattered. Jasper got up to fight but a ship had caught her attention along with her attacker, she ran and (Not canon but I couldn't think of anything else) Tripped over a rock, cracked her gem and ended up landing in the safety of roses shield. (I know, I know) She then ran away and lived in a cave for 175 years alone with a cracked gem and glitching form.
She made herself an ocarina out of wood and learned many songs (Another cringe part) And found it had some magical properties such as illusion duplication and change in weather slightly.
She was then found by Blue Aragonite (My best friends OC) and they became friends. Red will only ever fuse with Blue, never with anyone else.
