Next day.
Everybody is downstairs, busy in themselves. Karan and Preeta are playing with Nyra, Rohan and Kartik. While the others are also busy in their work.
Nyra: Mumma, papa, agar mein aapse ek wish mangungi, toh aap log puri karoge??
Preeta/Karan: Of course jaan/princess.
Nyra: Mumma, meri class teacher bol rahi thi ki sister's day aa raha hai aur woh apni sister ke saath ghumne jayengi, isliye woh chutti par jaa rahi hai...
Preeran (confused): Toh??
Shrishti giggles, understanding what she meant.
Nyra (innocently): Mujhe bhi ek sister chahiye!!
Preeran get shocked, while the others laugh. Karan then smirks.
Karan: Princess mein toh kabse aapki mumma ko bol raha hu...(he snuggles closer to Preeta) hai na babydoll...
Preeta blushes and lightly pushes Karan, glaring at him.
Preeta (whispers): Tumhe thodi sharam varam hai...bachcho ke saamne shuru ho gaye!!
Karan: Babydoll, meri saari sharam tumhe dekh kar sharma jaati hai...
She widens her eyes and hits him lightly, while he smirks. She blushes and runs upstairs.
Preeta (running): Mujhe kuch kaam yaad aa gaya!!
Nisha (teasing): Haan haan Pree bohot important kaam hoga!!
Preeta runs upstairs while the others laugh.
Later.
Preeta is sitting on the bed in her room, with a cute angry pout.
Preeta: Yeh bajarbattu bhi na!! Huhh!! Samajhta kya hai khud ko!!! (stuffing her mouth with chocolate) Aane do isse, mein dekhti hu!!!
Just then a phone starts ringing. She checks her phone.
Preeta: Mera toh phone nahi baj raha...phir yeh??
She sees Karan's phone on the other side of the table and sighs.
Preeta: Toh yeh iska phone hai!!
She sees that it is his coach calling. She picks up the phone.
Preeta: Hello??
Coach: I am sorry, mein Karan ko call kar raha tha...
Preeta: Its okay...mein Preeta, Karan ki wife...
Coach: Oh, Mrs. Karan Luthra...
She felt immense pleasure hearing that name and smiled.
Coach: Actually meine aap ko yeh bataane ke liye phone kiya tha ki Karan ko international matches ke liye ek baar phir select kiya hai!!
Preeta gets very excited and happy hearing that.
Coach: Aap please usse bata dijiye ga...
Preeta (excitedly): Nahi nahi!! Aap hi usse bata dijiye...woh bohot khush hoga!!
She runs outside the room, happy and excited. She sees Karan playing with Nyra. She smiles. She stands upstairs and calls Karan.
Preeta: Karan!!!
Karan and everybody look up to see an excited Preeta. He smiles.
Karan: Yes babydoll, kya hua??
Preeta (excited): Tumhare coach ka phone hai...ek good news hai!!
Karan (curious, excited): Kyaa??
