Everything was gone
now there's nothing left to see
then all I have to do
is linger in your memory
And the past should stay
to where it must belong;
while you've moved on
I'm left here all alone
So better days abandoned me
but dreams of us remained;
you walked out in the rain
and I should take the blame
Guess all I'm asking for is a second chance
but what we had before was once in a lifetime chance;
and though in my heart I know you're real,
I know I've lost you forever still.
