| Till Morning |

"Wait, so you are Korean?"

"Yeah."

"Have you ever lived there?"

"No but I visit all the time."

I knew he was Asian but never what type. I have met a few Koreans at my school and they are pretty cool, just never really talk to them.

"So you have family there?"

Shua pauses but still continues to walk. "I consider them family, they are some of the best group of people I have met."

I smile at the thought. He has so much respect for these people. At least he has people he can love.

"Maybe you can met them too. Some of them enjoy meeting new people. I know they will be visiting soon."

I stop walking and start jumping around. "Yeah! I would love to, any friend of yours is a friend of mine." I show him my largest smile while bunching my hands together. I probably look really cute...

He stands there with me. His eyes turn into crescents while his lips are turned up. "That's good to know."

We ended up wandering for hours around LA. Shua and I passed by a variety of stores and walked on many sidewalks. Shua continued to converse about how nice Korea is and how sometimes he misses it that he wishes he could live there.

I found out that he would have went to live with his friends if it wasn't for his mother begging him to stay. Mother's baby boy. You should have known in all honesty. Also, he stayed for the education. He said it might have gave him more opportunities to get better jobs. Whatever he says.

Shua sucks in air as if he was hesitant, "So have you ever thought where you might go after you graduate?"

My scrunched face already gave him the answer. I have tried narrowing my options and balancing the pro's and con's for each place. Never have I gotten a specific place I wanted to go too. My parents don't know that I want to 'run away' either, so if I were to choose a place, it would be somewhere they won't look to.

"I'm not sure. Every time I think of a place I tend to overthink everything."

"I see."

"Maybe you can help me decide. You are an adult and traveled to more places than I have." I tell him. I obviously need help so I can properly live independently once I graduate. School doesn't just teach you how to adult for some reason. They expect you to just get a job and understand everything you need to live. Wtf, no. My parents won't help me, obviously.

"I will see what I can do." He says still unsure about his answer. Maybe he can't even adult himself. Who knows.

"Do you think that you will ever move to Korea, Shua?" My voice soft and almost went unheard.
