Jo Yeong and his team of Royal Guards continuously ran through the bamboo forest, scanned every inch of the forest, and called out for their king.

The walkie talkie sets they carried made a sudden splurge noise.

"Captain Jo, we found an intruder at point 06 and it turns out that it is His Majesty. Vice Captain Kang is on his way to escort His Majesty," a Royal Guard reported over the walkie talkie set.

"Copy that," Jo Yeong responded with a sigh of relief. He turned around, faced the Royal Guards behind him. "We will return to the palace at once."

"Yes Captain." The five Royal Guards stepped sideways to let their captain pass.

"Your Majesty, you have a meeting with the Chinese ambassador in Pyongyang at 11am. After that you have a meeting with the Trade Minister at 2pm," Myeong Na Ri briefed, flipping through the pages of her tablet.

Lee Gon stopped his steps, held his hands behind his back, and turned to look at Myeong Seung Ah. "Inform Prime Minister Mo to meet the Chinese ambassador on my behalf. I want my schedule to be clear today," he responded.

"Yes Your Majesty," Myeong Seung Ah bowed, guessing that the king could have been drained out from his long study periods.

Lee Gon turned his gaze to Kang Hyeon Min. "Vice Captain Kang, I have an important task for you," he said. After finishing his words, he proceeded to his study room on the first floor.

Kang Hyeon Min bowed at his king in acknowledgement.

Jo Yeong arrived at the hallway.

Myeong Seung Ah smiled the moment she caught the sight of him.

Captivated by her smile, Jo Yeong walked up to her. He reached out and held her hand discreetly. "Let's have fried chicken and somaek for dinner tonight," he whispered.

Myeong Seung Ah grinned and nodded.

"I will come and pick you up after my shift ends."

Lady Noh exited a room. She shot a quick glance at them and alerted them with a light cough.

Jo Yeong instantly released Myeong Seung Ash's hand and moved away from her. He turned toward Lady Noh and bowed.

Myeong Seung Ah looked away into the distance, embarrassed.

"Captain Jo, I heard that pyeha has returned," Lady Noh muttered.

"Yes. I was just about to go and see him."

"We can go together," Lady Noh scoffed. She gave a quick squint at Myeong Seung Ah and strode off.

Myeong Seung Ah forced a smile and looked down at the tiles in silence.

Lee Gon showed the photo of Jeong Tae Eul in his mobile phone to Kang Hyeon Min. "I need you to find our future queen's long lost twin sister's whereabouts discreetly," he ordered.

Kang Hyeon Min took a quick glance at the photo. "As you wish, Your Majesty.".

"Apparently they don't get along well. We will have to find a way to prevent them from seeing each other to avoid any unwanted conflict," Lee Gon added.

"I will make sure that the twin sister ceases to exist," Kang Hyeon Min stated in a firm voice.

"Don't do anything until I tell you to," Lee Gon ordered. He figured that Jeong Tae Eul would not want him to harm her doppelganger just so that they can get married comfortably. He would not like her to have those illuminating scars on her body whenever the lightning strikes either.
