Chapter One

Caitlyn's POV**

Seven years later...

I packed my personal things into my black, leather suitcase. I was filled with joy and excitement. This was going to be a summer to look forward to. School just ended a few days ago, and when I got home, my aunt gave me the best news! I'm staying with Aaron for the summer! She said it was a good time to visit, which was good enough for me.

I did a little happy dance as I threw random clothes into the bags. Two whole months with Aaron. Can't you believe it? It's been seven years. I wonder how much he has changed? Will he remember me? God, I miss that boy. Ever since I've moved, I haven't made a lot of friends. Well I have, but they would never be like Aaron.

"Honey, are you ready?" My aunt yelled from downstairs.

"Yes! Coming!" I yelled back and grab my suitcase. I gave once last glance in the mirror before running down the stairs.

"Calm yourself dear," My aunt said while helping me with my things. "No need to rush," I laughed when she said that. She had no idea how happy I was.

We walked out where a taxi was waiting. I smiled and quickly shoved my suitcase in the trunk and turned to my aunt. I gave her a huge hug and thanked her again. Isn't she the best?

"Have a good time sweetie, call me when you get there, okay?" My aunt said, being all protective and what not. I nodded and she added, "His parents know you're coming, but he doesn't," She gave a wicked smirk which made this even better! I get to surprise him! "His parents and I thought it would be funny to see his reaction,"

"Can't wait to see the look on his face," I laugh while opening the taxi door. I gave one last glance at my aunt before shutting the door. I rolled down the window and waved to her while driving down the street.

This was going to be very interesting. I have never been so excited in my life! The drive was going to take hours, and cost a lot of money, but worth it. I can imagine seeing him right now, hugging him, talking, catching up on things, and getting my best friend back. I hope these two months go by slow, because I don't want to leave him. Sounds weird? Well he's just that awesome.

I looked at the window and studied the streets. They looked oddly familiar. My heart started beating faster and faster. I knew where they lived, I knew all the streets. I knew all the restaurants, stores, and where they were placed. I had a feeling we were getting closer. I felt really nervous. What if he doesn't want to be my friend? That would hurt so badly. I feel like I'm going to be sick.

"Are you okay?" The taxi driver asked with a concerned look on his face. I started to lose vision, making me even more sick. "Ma'am?"

"I..I feel like..." I stopped my sentence and had  a really bad feeling. I started to get a headache and I felt dizzy. Oh dear lord, please don't throw up. No! "I-" And with that, I did. I turned my head quickly and it splattered against the seat beside me. "Sorry..." Eww gross, it was a mixture of popcorn and Fruity Pebbles.

"Oh come on!" He got angry and hit the steering wheel. I felt really guilty. Ugh, why do I always do this?

"Look I'm sorry! I was sick!" I shouted back, feeling more guilty. I shouldn't have done tha. If someone threw up chunks of popcorn in my car, I would be pissed too. "I'll clean it up," I offered but he stopped the taxi.

"No, just get out," He demanded and I sighed. Great, this is just great!

I got out of the car and got my suitcase out of the trunk. I wobbled over to his window and gave him the money. He didn't even look at me and drove off.
