Chapter Four

Caitlyn's POV**

"So, how did you sleep last night, Caitlyn?" Mr. Knight said, trying to not made it an awkward breakfast. Mrs. Knight wasn't eating, just sitting there, looking sad as ever. 

"Fine," I responded and looked towards Mrs. Knight's direction. "I know it's hard on all of us. But we can get through it," I told her, referring to my dead parents. I tried not to bring up the bad memory. It always made me wanna cry. I could tell Ari wanted to comfort me, but not infront of his parents. I sighed and finished the rest of my bacon. 

"You're right," She gave a weak smile. "It's going to be hard. How about we all go out as a family today?" Mrs. Knight said, trying to be cheerful. 

"Oh, come on Lilly. I doubt these kids wanna hang around old people. And besides they need to catch up since they haven't seen each other in forever. Plus, we can have the day to ourselves," Mr. Knight said, making  dirty reference at the last sentence. I shivered, gross. 

"Perfect!" Mrs. Knight clapped her hands in excitement. Well, at least we are happy. 

"Hey Cait, we can go down by the lake like the good old days," Ari suggested and I nodded. It was going to be a perfect day. I get to spend it all with Ari. 

"Well you guys can go do that, me and my beautiful wife will go out for the rest of the day, maybe a motel or something," Mr. Knight and Mrs. Knight wiggled their eyebrows at each other. I couldn't help myself, I started bursting out laughing! They are so cute.

After our laugh fest, we put up our dishes. I walked up to the guest bed room and picked out what I was going to wear for the day. 

"Boo!" Ari shouted from behind me. 

"Holy crap, you scared me!" I jumped and hit his arm playfully. God, he knows how easily scared I get! He laughed and grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to his chest. "Your parents might see us," I tried to wiggle away but he tightened his grip.

"They are already gone," He smiled and kissed me. I felt chills run through my spine from his touch. He always seemed to have this effect on me. "Let's get cleaned up," He smiled and I nodded. "Wear something sexy," He whispered in my ear, making me melt. My god, he's perfect.

Ari walked out and I closed the door, picking out something to wear. I grabbed a pair of my favorite denim shorts, and a right shirt that rised up an inch above my waist. I put on some of my favorite sandals and looked in the mirror, and was satisfied. I walked out the door and headed towards Ari's bedroom. I knocked on his door and it opened. Ari was ready to go in his tight white t-shirt and shorts. He looked amazing. 

"Damn," Ari studied my body and bit his lip. Oh god. I blushed deeply and he chuckled. "You're so hot," He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and grabbed my hand. "Let's go," 

We walked down the stairs and headed outside. The lake wasn't that far from where we were, so we just walked. As we started getting closer, I saw it. It was a great view. It was a good-sized lake, not too big or too small. Trees were lined up behind it with a patch of flowers. It was like one of those scenes in a movie that you think is too beautiful to exist. 

"Did you bring a swimsuit?" Ari asked and I did a mental face palm. Crap! I had a feeling I forgot something! 

"No," It would be okay if I left it at the house, I could easily get it. But my nearest swimsuit was at my aunts. 

"That's okay," Ari smirked as he stripped his clothing, only having on his underwear. Gosh, how can a guy look this hot? "Your turn," He winked and I did what he said. I stripped all of my clothing except black laced knickers. "Oh my god, Caity," He looked at me with his motuh wide opened. I can't be that pretty, can I? I mean come one, I'm Caitlyn. I am no Megan Fox what-so-ever.Ari grabbed my hand and led me into the water. It felt really good today, it was warm and not cold like it usually is.

"I love this weather," I say while swimming backwards and enjoying the summer air. 

"It's perfect, like you," Ari smiled and I giggled. How sweet! He pulled me closer to him and our foreheads connected. "You have no idea what you do to my, CaityCat. You are so sexy that I almost lose it," He makes me feel so special about myself. His lips pressed against mine, and this time it was tender. It was so quiet, so peaceful. I loved every second of it, even if it wasn't a full make-out session. It was pure. It was something rare, and I enjoyed it so much.

After about a few minutes of relaxing, we got all of our clothes back on and headed back to the house. I have never felt like this about anybody before, especially my best friend. I guess it's fate. Today was one of the best days I've ever had, the way he kisses me is just magical. He effect on me is powerful. I can't control myself around him. 

We eventually got to the house. When we got inside I laid across the couch and turned on the tv. Ari let my rest my head on his lap as we watched cartoons together. This was nice. 

I'm starting to fall in love with my best friend. Crazy? You're probably right.
