Chapter Five

Caitlyn's POV**

"We still have the rest of the day to be alone, together," Ari whispered in my ear as we continued to watch tv. 

"Well, what do you want to do?" I said and looked up at him. 

"I would like," He slowly began to say, "to take you on a date," He said nervously. 

"Of course, I would Ari," I smiled and hugged him. He relaxed and gave me a hug. He was so sweet, so caring. He wasn't like other guys that rush you into things, he was gentle. That's one of the reasons I like him so much. He's amazing and I don't know what I would do without him. "Where to?"

"It's a surprise, silly. Now go upstairs and get changed into something fancy," He gave me a peck on the lips before heading upstairs. I seriously need to take a shower. So I walked into the bathroom and got all my clothes on the floor. I turned the shower on and stepped in, letting the hot water run down my back. I cleaned myself and smelled like coconut and strawberries. Mmm, it's a great combination.

I stepped out of the shower and dried myself off, and headed back towards the guest room. I closed the door behind me and quickly looked for something to wear. I didn't bring that many dresses. I dug threw my pile of clothes until I finally found a decent dress. It was a tight, black dress with long, laced sleeves. I guess you could call that fancy. So it's good enough for me. 

I slipped into some black high heels that complimented my legs perfectly. Now, my hair is what I need to do last. So I decided on keeping it down, showing off my natural curls. I put on some light make-up, trying not to look like barbie, and headed out the door. I saw Ari waiting for me by the front door. He was wearing black pants and a black button-up shirt. My mouth felt like it was going to fall off by his appearance. I couldn't help myself. 

I walked down the stairs and met up with him. He grabbed me by the waist and whispered into my ear.

"You are sexy as hell," I felt shivers go through my spine. "Let's go," He took my hand and led me to the chevy. 

"You still use this? I haven't seen it used in ages," I said while staring at the car.

"Well we had too since I got my linsence. We can't afford another car right now," He explained and I nodded. That made sense. We got into the car and started driving down the street.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"You'll see," His smirk grew wider as I irritated. I hate surprises and he knows that! 

We drove down a couple of street until we hit downtown. There is really not much down here. I became more curious, where was he taking me? There's barely anything down here. Finally he parked his car infront of a building. Loud music was pounding through the walls, giving me a huge headache. 

"Don't worry, I have something else planned for us," He smiled and helped me out of the car like a gentleman. He took my hand and we walked towards the building. It seemed like a club. Great, my first date is at a club. Might as well embrace the moment of beer and sluts. Yay.

We kept walking until we got inside of the building. There were sluts and beer, just like I said. He lead me in the back, and we both stood infront of a huge wooden door. I was confused. What was this? He opened the door and I was in shock. It was so beautiful. There was a fountain in the middle and benches were spread out across the area. The lights were set to where the room had a red glow. It was so romantic. 

We both walked in and he closed the door. It was just us two. I don't think this could get any more amazing than it already is.

"Wanna dance?" Ari asked and I nodded. His hands lowered to my waist and pulled me close. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we danced to the slow music. I rested my head on his chest and enjoyed the moment. Ari was so great. He was so kind and thoughtful to bring me here. I don't know how he comes up with these things, they are always perfect. he always seems to impress more and more each time I see him. 

"Ari, baby! Fancy seeing you here!" A loud blonde busted throught the door and ran towards our direction. Who was she and why is she calling Ari baby? My emotions were filled with anger and jealously. 

"Chanel, what are you doing here?" Ari asked nervously. I looked at Ari and didn't feel anger or jealously anymore, but sadness. Who was she?

"Who is she?" The blonde spoke, making a disgusted face towards me. Bitch.

"Who are you?" I gave the same attitude back. I am not taking any bullshit from her.

"I'm Ari's girlfriend," She stepped closer to me, thinking that she owned the place. My heart stopped and looked at Ari. This can't be true, it just can't. 

"Chanel, we broke up. How many times do I have to tell you?" Ari asked. I was so confused, I didn't know what to do.

"Me and  Ari had sex," She blurted out, making me want to crawl in a hole and die. Ari was speechless and so was I. The next thing I knew, their lips connected. I felt betrayed. I felt like a thousand bullets shot through me. Tears started to fill my eyes as they pulled apart. 

"What the hell was that!" Ari yelled. How could he do that to me? He didn't try to pull away, and now he's yelling at her? Even after all she has said to me and all she has done? That's it. I'm done.

I ran out of there as fast as I could go. Tears poured down my face. My heart was shattered. I have never felt so ashamed in my entire life. I heard Ari yelling my name, but that made me run even faster. I finally made it out the door, in the pouring rain. I ran down the street, making sure I lost him. After a few minutes, I stopped and caught my breath. Then I realized what just happened. I feel to my knees and cried. The rain fell harder and I cried harder. I can't believe they kissed. Was it true? The things that she said? I can't believe it. I thought me and him were something, something special. I was wrong. 

I just sat there in the rain.

With no ride.

How am I going to survive?
