miya.
i barely slept. that's what happened. being in a bed and home that was not mine felt uncomfortable. being far from my family and friends added up to how uncomfortable it was. the sun was making it's way back up and i wasn't planning on sleeping again anytime soon.
i got up, washed and changed into one of the dresses in taehyung's closet. i fixed my hair and by fixed i mean combing it through with my fingers. "taehyung probably is still asleep," i mumble. after freshening up, i go to the bakery, making sure i was quiet since taehyung might still be asleep.
i turned to close the door and right after that, i looked around the bakery. "where the fuck is that beautiful--," i gasped in shock when i saw taehyung sleeping on two combined chairs that barely was enough for his size. it did not look comfortable at all.
this bitch lied to me. i can't believe this. i wasn't planning on waking him up but he shifted in his sleep. his eyes opened a little bit while he looks at me, "oh, miya. good morning!," he greets and i raise an eyebrow.
a few seconds after, "OH GOD, MIYA!!," taehyung jolts up in shock but this made the two chairs separate, making him fall on his ass. this would be a funny scene and i would probably be laughing my ass off but no, i was disappointed and sad that he lied to me. it just makes me feel guilty that he had to sleep somewhere so uncomfortable.
he stood up and smiled at me, an i-fucked-up kind of smile while scratching the back of his head, "i never thought you'd wake up earlier than me, what a surprise!," he nervously chuckled. "care to explain?," i fold my arms, waiting for a response.
"look at the time! i have to get ingredients for the bread! i have to go--"
i catch taehyung by his clothes before he could run away, "explain taehyung, we can get the ingredients later. i'll help you," i casually say. he releases a deep sigh and stands in front of me, "miya, i'm very sorry for lying but i couldn't just let you sleep somewhere that isn't a bed! i'd look like a terrible person," he explains.
"and you had to sleep on somewhere that isn't a bed? taehyung, if you told me the truth, we could've found a way to sleep comfortably! this is your home and it makes me feel guilty that you had to sleep on chairs! i mean, i wouldn't mind sleeping on the same bed as you--," my eyes widened and i stopped myself from saying more. taehyung had an innocent look on his face, "you really wouldn't mind sharing a bed with me?," he asks.
"yes..?," i shyly admit but it sounded unsure. taehyung clapped his hands, "i thought you'd feel uncomfortable sleeping with me but i was wrong. i should have told you the truth last night, no?," he sheepishly grinned. i rolled my eyes but smiled right after.
taehyung, he acts like we never just met each other yesterday. he acts like we've been friends for a long time. i never felt a sense of uncomfort when we're together and i kinda like it. who wouldn't though?
"okay, just like i said, i really need to get ingredients and you will help me"
"i just told you i would," i gave him a look and he laughed, "let's go!"

"taehyung, how are you going to carry two bags of flour?," i question him. we arrived to where taehyung gets his ingredients for the bakery and this man just bought two sacks of flour and a basket full of eggs. taehyung stiffles a laugh, "who says i'm going to carry both of them?"
i dramatically gasp, "I'M GOING TO CARRY THE OTHER SACK?!," taehyung bursts into laugher while nodding his head. "but i thought i was going to carry the eggs!," i whine. taehyung continues on laughing while i glare at him. stop laughing or else my fist will collide with your beautiful face.
i groan and make my way to the second sack of flour, mumbling curse words while i'm at it. taehyung's laughter stops but he was still giggling, "are you seriously going to carry that?" i gave him a look of confusion, "you just told me to!" he shakes his head, "that would be too heavy for you, miya. i was playing around"
i'm offended. "are you underestimating my strength, kim taehyung?," i squint my eyes in disbelief. this man be testing me. he shakes his head, "no, but i don't want you to struggle," he says softly but it was clear that he wanted to laugh. unbelievable. excuse you but i am a strong and independent woman and i can carry shit on my own, no matter how heavy it may be.
i ignore him and carry the sack on my shoulder, "fuck, this shit is heavy," i whisper to myself. but i will not show any sign of weakness because i will prove my strength to taehyung. taehyung faced me with a shocked face, "i'm impressed, miya! i never knew you had so much strength in you!," he exclaims. i smirk, yes baby you be stating facts right now.
i take small but quick steps to make sure i don't lose balance and fall and have the flour all over me and most importantly, embarrass myself in front of taehyung. "miya, wait!," taehyung yells from the back. "hurry up, tae! i don't have all the time in the world to wait for you," i yell back, forcing each word to come out casually when in reality, it pained me to even talk since the sack is really heavy.
"you're calling me tae now, huh?," he was now walking beside me, chuckling. i shrugged, "it just feels so natural calling you that. tae sounds cute, doesn't it?" he nods like a child, "i like it, keep calling me that" i smile, i'm liking taehyung's company.
maybe being here isn't so bad as i thought i would be.
