Hovering in orbit, Mas is doing everything he can to save a badly hurt Falicia. While the rest of the crew worry, Johnny continues building the new engine.
Ben walks into the engine room.
Ben: John. Why don't you take a break?
Johnny: I can't. We gotta get this thing going so I can kill that asshole.
Ben: Johnny jus-
Johnny: NO! People like him are the reason we lost mom! I can't lose Falicia and you too. I gotta get this fucking thing going so we can get a weapon powerful enough to destroy his ship.
Johnny puts protective goggles on and begins drilling screws into the new engine.
Ben leaves the room and walks into the living quarters, where Luna is sitting on a couch.
Ben walks over to the built in sterio and pushes play.
"Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" by Looking Glass plays.
Luna: Hey.
Ben: How you holding up?
Luna: Just worried.
Ben: Yeah, me too. Johnny's pretty screwed up about Falicia.
Luna: Yeah, I spoke to him a minute ago.
[Luna sighs]
Luna: The hell are we gonna do?
Ben: Honestly? I think we should tell Starlight.
Luna: Jesus Ben.
Ben: I can't think of anything else, okay?! I wasn't suppose to lead an entire cavalry to stop a crazy galactic warlord!
Luna: Then why the hell do you call yourselves The Cosmic Cavalry?
Ben: Luna we're in way over our heads. That guy almost killed Falicia and that's just one guy.
Luna: Yeah.. There are three other servants Maddock will likely send.
[Ben rubs his head]
Ben: Jesus. We have to go to Starlight.
Luna: Crew decides. We'll vote.
Ben: Yeah, that sounds good.
Ben, Johnny, Luna, Mas and Kingsley are standing in the cockpit around the holotable.
Johnny: You seriously think Starlight can help?
Ben: I seriously do. I don't know what other choice we have, we can't handle Maddock alone.
Luna: I'm with Ben, I vote we tell them.
Kingsley: I agree. Even with all the science weapons in the world you won't defeat him.
Ben: Alright. Mas?
Mas: I won't be any help, I must stay with Falicia at all times. I believe it is in our best interest to tell Starlight.
Ben: Johnny?
Johnny: Fine.
Johnny picks up a wrench.
Johnny: But in the end of all this, I'm the one who kills him. Got it?
Ben: Ok. Luna, set course for the Starlight HQ.
A few jumps later... The Cruiser is on its way to Starlight Intergalactic HQ. With Falicia now woken up but badly hurt, Johnny is sitting by her side.
Johnny: You okay?
Falicia: Yeah, just hurting.
Johnny: I shouldn't have left you.
