So more on the mango story...

'So yeah it's me Mangoette again. Where was I?? Oh yes Mango and I. A few texts I suppose. It did take awhile though. Then we began to get to know each other a little more. Realizing what we had in common we also talked more and more. About what? Basketball only at first, then mutual friends and eventually books. Maybe a friendship
Like ours does start like this. In an unusual awkward. And slowly first impressions died out. Like her first impression of me being too nice. Or my impression of her being quiet and normal. I suppose that's the first step getting past first impressions. The next step is small, but important details. Like a love of reading or a love of sports. Family is also a part of this step, meeting them, not judging them. The first family part was complete, Lillian met my father through basketball, he was our coach. Small but important details, now that takes time. Especially with my mango. She's quiet and mostly keeps to herself. Once you get past that she's crazy, fun loving, and talkative. I mean I never would have guessed it until I was invited over after a basketball game. Let's just say while I was there I witnessed a shy girl laugh uncontrollably, use a Popsicle stick catapult to chuck paper, and google how to flip someone and use me as the victim! So maybe that answers the question of when. Maybe, we shall see as our story is shared.
