The Powerful Secret

Chapter 7

*BANG*
Thats what I woke up to the next morning.
I went downstairs to investigate and found out it was just my dad slamming a bunch of books on the table. There had to be at least 10 I have no idea what he's been up too.
"Uh dad what are you doing?," I said puzzled.
"I have hit the jackpot I found a hidden site on the internet and it was all about your kind of magic and it said there was this libary about all kinds of magic. I found the location. Turns out theres thousands of diffrent kinds of magic you seem to have a mix of em all which is very rare. So I grabbed every book about it and im gonna study it", my dad said excitedly.
"Wait so I have a mix of them all how does that even happen?"
" Thats what Im working on and it should lead me to whos after you. Im guessing part of the reason is how rare you are."
" But me and Kent are the same so does that mean hes rare like me,"
"I guess so and whoever these guys must of been following us for a while since they know a lot about you Ill tell you more later I gotta start reading these books aren't you gonna see a friend today," my dad said as he opens the first book and blowing the dust away.
"Yea I guess I'll leave you to it."
I leave and text my friend that im on the way to her house. I grab my stuff and start walking to her house. Halfway there I see a guy in a black robe throw something at me then everything turns black.

I wake up tied to a metal chair In a small empty room.I know I could easily escape with my magic. As I use my magic to break the rope something stops me from being able to break it.
"Theres a spell on the rope you can't break it, I had to learn this spell first before I could grab you I can't use it again tho" a voice said walking into the room. A tall man in a black rope appears. He removes his hood and reveals a very masculine face. He has a very sharp jawline, slight stuble and a sharp nose. His eyes and hair are a peculiar shade of brown.
"I know im dressed like the guy who attacked Kent but that wasn't me. I had no other way of bringing you here. I'll explain everything."
I look at him wondering if I should trust him or not. There is fear in his eyes maybe hes not here to hurt me.
"My name is Austin I need your help."
Austin then udos the spell pulls up a chair and sits in front of me, "Look 200 years ago after they discovered the gems no one was allowed to consume them anymore cause of the magics ability to control you. A man named Sirena Will somehow got ahold of all of the gems and turned it into one potion and drank it. After he had children and waited for the strongest in his bloodline while his men who also drank the gems did the same. Their wives sworn to an oath that any child born without magic was killed.  He then put himself and his men to sleep and waited to be awoken."
"I have a mix of all of them does that mean..." I said waiting for him to comform it.
" Yes your related and yes it is you that has awoken him. Sirenas plan is to take over the planet. Once the strongest one uses their powers him and his men are awakend"
"Wait is does that mean I'm the strongest. And what about my friend Kent we are equally powerful." I say with fear creeping upon me.
"Yes and someone in your bloodline has broken the oath cause your father doesn't have any magic and once Siren finds out your father will be killed. It takes 2 equally strong people to rule over and extinct the humans with no powers. Kent is only showing you what he knows you can do much more."
"What this is crazy and doesn't make sense. I gotta tell my father. Everything he's reasearching is wrong. But he did get the gem thing right now he's trying to go through our family tree"
"The family tree could point us to who broke the oath."Austin said.
I can't believe any of this is real im just shocked and disgusted with this Serina guy. How can magic change a person like this.
I look him dead in the face as he uses his magic and makes books out of thin air and asked, "So what's the plan."
"Your the only one that can stop him. Keep training don't back down we need to locate him before he locates us I'll take you back home and discuss everything with your family. Who he is and how you became has been erased by one of his men that didnt't go to sleep to keep his secret safe. He's probably the one trying to kill you before Sirena gets to you. We magic people can live as long as 500 years"
Austin uses his magic and makes books out of thin air and gives them to me to to look over. I stand up and pace back and forth.
" I shouldn't have kept this a secret for so long now my family is in danger and I'm the only one that can stop Sirena"
Austin glances over at me," The sooner you used your true powers the sooner he would have awoken you have a better chance now that your older."
So this is what my life has become.
This is my destiny.
