Jungkook is betrayed. Completely and utterly betrayed. He can't believe it.
Taehyung stands in front of him, blush resting on his cheeks, running a hand through his hair in embarrassment. Jungkook glares at him as if Taehyung's told him the worst news in the world.
Which, in fact, he has.
Kim Taehyung, Jungkook's best friend for life, the fucker that he is, went and got himself into a relationship. Without telling Jungkook first. Jungkook is appalled.
"How could you?" Jungkook asks, sending the most disbelief he could manage to send in a glare. "I thought we were bros."
Taehyung looks sheepish, a little embarrased. "We are bros, Kook."
"Then why didn't you tell me about this... this person?"
Taehyung shrugs. "It just... happened? I guess?"
"You guess?" Jungkook wants to send more disbelief but he's afraid he's sent all of the disbelief his body could muster. "I can't believe this. I need a fucking drink. I'll talk to you later."
And so, Jungkook walks away, betrayal resting in the pits of his stomach. He doesn't even glance back at Taehyung, who watches his best bro walk away from him, conflict and hurt washing over his heart.

A fresh pint of beer is placed in front of Jungkook's face, as he mulls over the conversation he had with Taehyung earlier today.
"Do you think I was being unreasonable?" he asks the bartender, who's also a close friend of his.
Seokjin scoffs. "Yes."
"Hyung," Jungkook whines. "You're not doing anything to make me feel better."
"I'm not here to make you feel better. Ask Namjoon to put up with your bullshit and give you some weird philosophical analysis. I'm not here to beat around the bush," Seokjin says, picking up a glass from the rack that he just pulled out of the dishwasher and drying it with a white cloth.
"How else was I supposed to react? He didn't even tell me about meeting them and now they're suddenly dating," Jungkook grumbles.
"Do you have to know everything that goes on in Taehyung's life?"
"Well, not everything, but," Jungkook sighs. "I want to know if he meets someone. I need to take my bro binoculars out and make sure he's dating someone who's good for him, you know?"
Seokjin sighs. "I think you're thinking too much on this."
"I just want to make sure he's got someone who'll treat him right," Jungkook says, alcohol in his system heightening his emotions. "He's my best bro and he deserves the world."
"Have you ever thought that maybe, you don't trust Taehyung and the people he chooses to date enough," Seokjin asks.
"What do you mean?"
"I think the reason Taehyung didn't tell you up until now is because you're a little overbearing sometimes. I love you, kid, but if I was your best bro, I wouldn't be telling you about the people I'm romantically engaged with."
Jungkook takes a gulp of his beer. It's now half empty. "What do I do?"
"Just be the best bro you can be and support him," Seokjin smiles. "Also, that's your last beer for tonight."
"Hyung," Jungkook whines.
"And if you actually have bro binoculars, please get rid of them."
