Okay, so this chapter is a bit different from the others in that I don't have a set fandom. This is just the bare bones to something that I thought would be really cool and, basically, be one massive crossover. The question here is: What if the entity that is Death had servants to help keep the balance?

Any examples I use to help explain what I'm thinking are up for grabs but just because I use them doesn't mean that you have to use them as well. At the end I will also have a few example for what could be looked for in characters so if you pups are still confused than you have a better idea on what to look for.

1: You have to use a cannon character that you can argue has died in the cannon yet is still somehow appart of the cannon but you can only use one character per universe. For example, Jason Todd was killed by Joker but was than brought back to life in one DC Universe, if you use him than you can't use any other DC Character.

2: In order to keep with Balance, Death can only have so many servants. So, for how many basic elements there are is how many servants Death has. This is also a bit iffy as basic elements can actually have different means to whoever you're talking to. Personally, I am of the oppinion that there are 6 basic elements: Land and Air, Water and Fire, and Light and Dark; however other people's beliefs can range from two to ten different types of basic elements. So, whatever number you believe there are is the number of servants Death has.

2.5: Reason for this is that each character has to be connected to one of the elements. Doesn't matter if the connection is through how they died or whatever powers/abilities they have.

3: Each character has to have died in a different way, no two deaths can be the same. This means that if one sacrificed their life none of the others must of sacrificed their lives, or if one willing comminted suicide than none of the others must of died via willing suicide. Keep in mind that loopholes and wording are your friends with this rule.

4: The characters can still interact with their world, but, once they are "taken in" by death, their world no long has to follow cannon. For example, Harry Potter, cause lets be serious you can argue a whole lot of death scenes for this guy, cannon can follow til Tommy-boy hits him with an AK the first time than you mess with cannon however you like so Harry doesn't have to go to Hogwarts or gets summoned during GOF or however you wanna swing it.

5: All the characters go on missions and those missions can be in any universe, even the ones that they are from.

That's all the rules I can think of, so lets get to the examples. Again, anything I put here you don't have to use if you don't want to.

Jason Todd, cause I used him before, was killed by Joker and than brought back to life via Talia and the Lazarus Pit. You can argue that, since the Joker killed him, he died of Maddness. When Jason was brought back to life he took a shine to guns, mostly to piss Bruce off, or you can put that his element is Fire.

Harry Potter, for same reason, it can be argued that he technically died at many points in the series but for this example we'll put when Tommy-Boy first hit him with an AK. We can say, due to both his age and the fact that Harry hadn't actually done anything to bring Tommy-Boy's attention to himself, that his death was of Innocence. His element would be a bit more tricky but it would have to be either Dark or Light, though I'm leaning more to Dark mostly due to the shock on people's faces but that's just me, as it can be argued both ways.

Skull De'Mort from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. It can be argued that he, most likely, activated his Cloud Flames via a motocycle accident while trying a stunt. You can argue that he died of Stupidity for trying that stunt. I'm not too sure what Skull's element would be, but maybe Air since he has Flames of the Sky.
