FMA/FMAB: Fullmetal's Savior?

So, what if, when Scar first goes to kill Ed, he doesn't see a State Alchemist but a child that's in over his head? What if Scar decides that the military is in the wrong and takes Ed? What if Ishval isn't as destroyed as everyone thinks? What if there's more to Ed's Xeres heritage than we know? How would all of this effect the show?

Okay, before we get to the rules I should probably explain about the title: I don't care if you use the original or the Brotherhood version, either one works. If you preferred the original than go with the original version. If you preferred the Brotherhood version than use the Brotherhood version. I honestly don't which is used and don't want to cause an argument over which is the better version. So please no arguments.

Now onto the RULES!!!

1: Edward's age can be anywhere between 12-16. Reason being that, while Ed's supposed to be 15-16 during the series, he age is somewhat up in the air when it comes to fanfiction.

2: Ishval is secretly still around.

2.5: No one but the Ishvalans know that Ishval is still around until a time the author feels like shocking the world.

3: Scar has good intentions and concerns about a child being in a military dog. Whether or not there is an actual reason for those concerns besides, ya know, the obvious is up to you pups.

3.5: If you do wanna go the abuse route: no sexual abuse please.

4: Ed's Xeres blood has to awaken... something. What that something is, is up to you.

5: Mustang has to be freaking out over Ed's kidnapping. Whether it's because he thinks of Ed as a son/younger brother or as a missing tool or something else entirely, that's up to you.

That's all for the Rules, but as a last thing: If there's any good Parental!Scar fanfics, please tell me. Personally, I think there need to be more Parental!Scar.
