A Raven and the Assassin

Homecoming

Raven was walking through the back of the shop before coming across a room which belonged to you and enters. As she walks in she sees pictures of you, Leo and another man but some of them looked like they had been torn and others burned.

"Excuse me but you can't be in here" Leo says surprising Raven before giving a sigh. "I know you want to know about him but this is just pain nothing more" Leo said as he picks up a photo and then smiles.

"Leo please tell me about [Fn]" Raven asked as he sits down looking at the picture. "[Fn] wasn't always like this taking things on by himself but he changed after that day" Leo says as his smile disappears.

"His friend Ken came from a well known family but they both learned about chi from my friend but it was a mistake because Ken's family attacked the temple killing all demons who lived there all but [Fn] and his master" Leo tells Raven as she looks back at the pictures. "After that Ken reject all demons even humans who protected them [Fn] stood by as it happened hoping his friend would come to his senses but he soon joined the fight to protect everyone" Leo continued before Raven grabbed a picture of you smiling but it was different it was warm.

"[Fn] is all alone in this war and in the end I fear that he will die to end it" Leo said as a tear falls down his face. "That won't happen" Raven told him to keep his spirit high as a smile broke out on his face.

"We should be arriving soon" Leo say as he and Raven leave the room and join you in the main area. The shop soon arived at it's destination before you walk out of the door and soon come faced with stairs.

"Ok lets go" you tell them as the 3 of you walk up the stairs all the time your focus never being shifted from your goal. "Listn miss stay behind us" Leo said as Raven nods before you all see a huge set of temple doors which open by themselves.

"Who dares enter this sacred temple" a voice came as you walk in and stop dead center. "I have come home master Shinzo" you say before seeing a man dressed in monk clothes appears before you as you kneal.

"[Fn] welcome home" master Shinzo said while placing a hand on your shoulder and you stand up before hugging him tight. "Master this is my friend Raven" you tell him as he look over and smiles.

"I see well please come we have much to discuss" master Shinzo told you all before following him into the temple. After walking into the temple the 4 of you sit in the main hall for some tea.

"So Ken is finally making his move but what puzzles me is why you came to me" master Shinzo asked as you put down your tea. "I have come ask you to allow me to take the trial of the 12 gates" you say as master Shinzo nearly spit his tea before putting it down.

"[Fn] you do remember the risks of the trial don't you and yet you still wish to take them" master Shinzo said as you nod before seeing no doubt in your eyes. "Very well you may take the trial you have until sunset" master Shinzo says as you leave the room to prepare for the trials ahead leaving Raven and Leo.

"What is it Leo" master Shinzo asked as he noticed Leo's look. "I was fine with you teaching him about chi but allowing him to take the trial of the 12 gates is insane you know the risks" Leo says as he stood up and walks around the room.

"I know how you feel but this is his journey not mine or yours" master Shinzo say as Raven slips out of the room and begins to walk around the temple before coming across a garden. As she walked through the garden looking at all the different type of planet she soon stops as she spots you dressed in pure white martial arts clothes doing some meditation exercises.

Raven sees birds land on your shoulders but you never move before the wind picks up and begins to blow as your body begins to float slightly untile you open and your eyes causing everything to return to normal and see Raven standing there. "Would you like a tour" you asked as she nods and follows you.

"I have lived here since I was born or at least as long as I can remember" you tell Raven before stopping in front of a large oak door. "In this room are all the past students who trained in these halls you could say me and Ken are the last" you say as Raven looked at them and soon sees you smile just like she saw in the photos from before as you both leave the room.

"[Fn] what is risky about this trial of the 12 gates" Raven asked as you continue to walk. "Once I enter I can never leave unless I pass the 12 trials that await me should I fail my life will end" you say as Raven stops as she watched you walk on.

The sun begins to set as master Shinzo takes you, Leo and Raven down to the entrance to the trial of 12 gates before coming face to face with large golden doors. "My student remember once you enter you will not be able to turn back" master Shinzo said as you nod while Leo and Raven watch on as you step forward.

"Now speak" master Shinzo said as you take a deep breath. "My name is [Fn] [Ln] and I have come to take the trial of the 12 gates" you say as the doors begin to open but just before you were about to step through Raven ran up to you and then turns you round to give you a kiss before letting go as you smile and walk in as the doors close behind you.
