A Raven and the Assassin

The final hour: the Robin and the beast

As all finish preaparing for the toughest fight of your lives as you all walking through the city before Ken and his army appear.

"FOR THE LIGHT" Ken shouts as his army begins to charge at your group. As soon as both sides clash all hell broke lose Robin was holding his own thank to his training with Batman, BeastBoy keeps changing from big to small animals, Cyborg was helping with support while blasting at the enemy, Starfire and Raven float in the air giving us a look out in the sky but we all begin to push our way through.

"ROBIN GO FIND REX" you shout as he nods before taking to the roof tops. Robin was now in a more quiet part of town hoping to slip round the massive fight and find his target before a rock grazed his cheek causing a small cut as a man was standing there holding rocks.

"Lets what was your name oh yeah Robin nice to meet you I'm Rex Jackson and now you die" Rex said as Robin quickly dodged another rock as to not get caught like the first time. "Oh your a quick study good that means I can go all out" Rex told Robin as he drops the other rocks in his hand and stands there which confused Robin.

*He isn't even going to put his guard up* Robin thought before rush at him and then jumping up to land a kick to his head hard enough to rattle someones brain before getting surprised. "That was a good kick but you just don't have the experience" Rex told him as Robin saw that his kick did nothing not even a scratch.

"That kick should of stunned you how" Robin said as he slowly backs away from him but Rex quickly acts and knees him in the stomach sending Robin crashing into the car behind him. "You want to know it's because I created the ultimate defence called iron skin" Rex told him as he picks Robin up and the slams him into the ground cracking the ground.

"I spent days and night bashing my body with iron bells even if I had broken bones I continued and that is how I created the iron skin" Rex says as he watched Robin struggle back to his feet as blood fell down his face. "You should really back down and I will let you live" Rex said before seeing Robin's eyes as his mask fell he had the eyes of someone who would never give up.

"Huh kids these days full of pride and for that you have my respect" Rex says as he lines up his fist ready to strike. He quickly punched the air in front of him senting it straight at Robin.

"This is my invisible punch" Rex told him as the wind hits Robin with intense force causing the ground to shatter. Rex was about to walk away but doesn't as the dust clears and Robin stands there without any extra wounds.

"Impossible that attack kills everything in it's path" Rex said in shock as Robin smiled as Rex noticed a smiled. "You are a quick study to copy my iron skin technique but from the looks of it you have not made it perfect" Rex told Robin as the both prepare to fight.

Rex rushed at Robin and comes in with a right jab but Robin jumps and spins like a ball in the air before landing a kick to the back of Rex's head. Rex quickly replies by flicking his head causing Robin to float in front of him before smashing a knee into his back sending him crashing into a wall.

Robin is dazed for a minute but managed to dodge Rex's on coming punch and deliver a knee of his own right to his face causing Rex to stumble back before Robin run at him flipping over and then slamming Rex head first into the road. As Robin was about to walk away Rex managed to lock on to Robin's leg and put him in a ankle lock.

"AH" Robin screams in pain as Rex keepd a hold and twists a little more. "I have to say out of all my opponents your the first to give me a real fight" Rex said as Robin tries to break the leg lock before flipping over and catching Rex in his own ankle lock.

After a few seconds Rex lets go as does Robin as they both hold their ankles. Robin manages to stand up as does Rex before rushing at each other with punch countering punch.

"This ends here" Rex says as he tossed Robin into the air and then jumps up and puts him into a piledrive position as the fall. "THIS IS WERE YOU DIE" Rex shouts before Robin breaks free and then jumps higher off him like a springboard causing Rex to crash even faster and harder into the ground before he sees Robin spin as he falls to deliver an elbow to the face.

"You done" Robin asked as Rex gave a light chuckle before smiling up to the sky. "Yeah I'm done but can I just say that was the best fight of my life plus you helped me with a dream of mine" Rex says as Robin falls on his back to exhausted to move.

"What dream" Robin asked as Rex just closed his eyes with a smile. "I always win so my dream was to taste defeat which you gave me thank you" Rex said as Robin begins to lose consciousness from the full wait of his injuries.

*[Fn] I won so don't you lose* Robin thought as he fell uncoscious as battles continued.

With that Rex Jackson also known as the beast finally got his wish to taste defeat because only through defeat can someone truly improve and break our own limitations to became better people.
