Trial of the 12 gates (Part 9 + 10)

Your P.O.V

I walk in to the next room and just like the last room it was a double trial as a small boy in purple genie clothes and a large muscular man dressed in dark blue genie clothes walk towards me.

"Oh hello you must be man we are to test I'm Hoppy and he is Brutus nice to meet you" Hoppy says as he ran round like as Brutus just grabs him by the collar and lifts him slightly. "We are here to test him so quit acting like a child before I crush you like an ant" Brutus told him as Hoppy smiled before looking at Brutus with no fear.

"Don't make threats or I might need to stamp your face into the ground after all you look like you need some dirt in your diet" Hoppy said as Brutus and his faces fill with anger before I step in. "Hey how about I just get passed and then you 2 can fight between yourselves" I told them as they looked at me while Brutus let Hoppy down.

"Ok lets start your test is simple beat me at a race and Brutus at a test of strength me first all you need to do is beat my time you get 3 attempts" Hoppy said as he ran round the room at inhuman speed before reaching the end and the timer say 2 min 30 sec. "Huh what a show off" Brutus says to himself as I took off running at my top speed before making it half way and take look at the timer and see it say 1 min 58 sec but as I reach the finish line and look at the timer and see it say 2 min 40 sec.

"Damn it 10 seconds too slow ok again" I say as I take of running but this time I push even fast making it half way as the timer said 1 min 49 sec before I try to go even faster and reach the finish line with the timer saying 2 min 37 sec. "Ah only 3 seconds off your first time and this is your last chance" Hoppy says as I take off running at my top speed before feel my exhaustion hit me and I begin to slow down.

*No I can't fail now* I thought before seeing something run past me before I look and see it was me covered in red chi. *No I will not lose here* I thought as I soon pick up speed in the hopes of catching myself.

"Faster" I say as I pick up even greater speed and with out noticing red chi surrounds my body. "FASTER" I shout as I soon gain so much speed that I disappear in a flash of light but what happened next surprised me when I ran past myself until I noticed I was in the same red chi as I imagined before reaching the finish line and the timer says 2 min 10 sec.

"I did it" I say as the red chi disappears as Hoppy walks over to me and shakes my hand. "Well you beat me congrates but now it's his turn" Hoppy said as he points at Brutus waiting for you.

"My turn to put you to the test all you need to do is punch this bag and beat my score got it" Brutus told me as I watch him pulls back a punch before hitting the bag as the punch meter goes up to 7,000. *You have got to be kidding me that much power in a single punch* I thought as I step up to the bag before taking a stance ready to punch.

I throw my punch with all the power I have but only for the punch meter to go up to 2,050. "No way that isn't even half of his score and that's everything I had" I say as Brutus just looked at me in silence while he stood with Hoppy.

"That guy is to exhausted to put any real power in his punch and the more he does it the weaker he will get it's over" Brutus said as they looked at me while I was thinking. *I need to find a way but how* I thought as I remember what happened in my speed trial with that red chi.

"I need to use that red chi again or it's over" I told myself as I push my chi to it's limit before the chi begins to change from blue to red as I pull back my punch. I throw my punch as the red chi disappears and I look and see the punch meter go up 10,000 as I see Brutus and Hoppy walk over to me.

"Well you passed my trial which means you can now move on to the final 2 trials" Brutus told me as the gate of the ox and gate of the rabbit symbols appear on my arm and I head off for the next trial as Brutus and Hoppy go and join the others at the end to await my arrival.
