Trial of the 12 gates (Part 6)

Your P.O.V

I walk into the next trial area hoping that it would be easy as I was completely exhausted but push on as I see room full of different weapons as an old woman dressed in aqua genie clothes walks closer to me.

"Hello there the name is Baba and this is your sixth trial" Baba told me as I nod. "First you need to cloak yourself in chi like this" Baba said as I saw her chi cover her and soon watch as she avoids all different types of long range weapons fire at her.

Guns shooting, cross bows twanging, explosives booming and kneedles clanging all the time she stood there as they all bounced off her untilit was my turn. "Now go" Baba told me as I cloak myself in chi as her weapons targeted me.

As they were about to fire at me Baba saw something that made her worry as the gun shoots as bullets bounce off my before an arrow just missed my face before she stops my trial. "Why did you stop" I asked confused by her action as I fell on to my back.

"I stopped because your too exhausted which means this is the end of your journey" Baba said before she looks at me in surprise as I struggle to get up. "Don't just think I'm giving up when I have people waiting for me so bring on the trial" I told Baba as she nods as I cloak myself in chi again.

All the weapons begin to shoot some get deflected but some miss by an inch. "Need to get stronger" I say as I make my chi stronger and block a couple more.

"Stronger" I say again as my chi became more dense with many of the objects getting stuck in my chi. "STRONGER" I shout as my chi explodes out and soon the weapons stop shooting before getting crushed to Baba's surprise.

*He is releasing more chi than he should be able this man is different he must be* Baba thought as she watched my chi shrink before it disappears and I fell on to my front as she ran over to me.

Your P.O.V ends

"Hey Baba we came when we felt that intense chi" Monk said as he, Hog, Viper, Pesto and Ponia before they see that Baba can't touch you. "He released too much chi and now his body feels like an oven" Baba said as the surround you as Ponia tries to help cool you down but is unable to.

"I can't cool him with my chi" Ponia said as Monk place a hand next to your mouth and feels your breathing. "He is alive and I believe I know what this is" Monk told the others as they all walk away to talk in private.

"So what is wrong with him" Hog asked as Monk looked at you before looking back to the others. "I believe his body is evolving when he entered our trials he had limits but trial after trial he slammed into his limits to the point his body couldn't contain his new amount chi" Monk says as the others look at you.

"So will big brother be ok or is he going to be like her" Viper asked as everyones faces changed. "I'm unsure it's up to him now" Monk said as they all watch your body glow bright red.

In your mind

"What is this" you asked as you walked through what looked like a maze before coming to a large room with 2 glowing pillars.

"About time you came" someone said from the shadows as you look everywhere. "What is this and who are you" you asked as the voice came again.

"Who am I well you could say I'm a piece of you as for this it's your cross roads on the right your new power and on the left a new power but also a curse your choice" the voice told you as you look at both side. "What is this curse" you asked as the voice came again.

"It's a second kind of chi called Dark chi" the voice told me as I look. "Once you gain Dark chi you can never again walk in the world of light so what do you choose" the voice asked as you step away.

"I'm not sure what this is but until I finished my trials I will not choose" you say as the voice chuckles before making the room disappear. "Ok I'll wait as I want to see just which side you'll choose" the voice told you before blinding you in a flash of light.

Outside your mind

You begin to wake up before seeing Baba walk over to you and kneel in front of you. "Did I pass or fail" you asked as Baba smiled before your arm glows and the gate of the sheep symbol appears.

"You pass now go and pass the rest" Baba told you as you run for the door that leads to your next trial meanwhile the others walk next to her. "Big brother didn't choose" Viper said as they all keep staring as you run for your next trial.

"He will because she of the 12th gate will make him" Pesto says as they head off to watch your next trial. "Over half way only 6 more" you told yourself as you run through the doors into the tunnle to your next trial.
