Lexi's POV
My jaw dropped. "Wh-"
"Can you guys hurry?" Banana shouted. "I'm starving!" "We'll be there in a sec!" Mads replied.
"Anyways, I wanted to warn you just in case we run into any paparazzi. I know this came out of nowhere, and I should've told you beforehand but I-" she paused for a second. "I was nervous you'd leave me. I didn't want to overwhelm you." "Mads, I would never do that." She sighed with relief. "Thanks for understanding. I promise I'll explain everything later, but by the looks of it, Banana might go crazy if she doesn't get food in the next 30 minutes" she said smirking, nudging my arm. I laughed as we walked to the black car. I had so many questions.
I sat on a cold seat in the back, the AC blowing on my skin. "So, where are we going?" I asked Mads sitting in the drivers seat. "I was thinking In-N-Out." "Ooh, sounds perfect. I could die for a burger now." Banana said, her hand patting her stomach.

Banana's POV
"So Lex, where are you from?" I asked curiously. "Oh, well I was born in Hawaii but I moved here last year-" "Wait, you live in Hawaii?! Do you know how to surf?" "Banana!" Mads exclaimed sternly. I rolled my eyes. "Yea, I love surfing. What would I be if I didn't?" Lexi laughed. "I try to go a few times a week if I can. What about you guys?" "Well, Mads is from Long Island, but i'm actually from South Carolina" I explained. "Oh cool. I've actually never been to New York" Lex said. "But we should go surfing together soon. I was actually gonna go tomorrow if you wanna come". "I'd love that actually" I said grinning.
"Oh and Mads, you're invited too. I mean if you wanted to-". I interrupted "Of course she would" staring at Mads. "Great then!"Lexi cheered before the car slowed and drove over a speed bump. "Well, looks like we're here guys." Mads said turning into the parking lot.

Lexi's POV
Everyone ordered their food and drove to the window. "That will be $14.75" the cashier said. I started taking out my wallet. "That won't be needed Lex. It's on me" Mads said. "You sure?" She nodded her head while paying the cashier. Immediately after Mads placed the bag in the car, Banana started stuffing fries in her face. I swear it was like she hadn't eaten in months. Mads turned to me and mouthed "She's always like this" before smirking.
A while after eating in the comfortable silence, Banana said "So what do you guys wanna do now?" "Well I was just gonna drive back home" Mads shrugged. Banana groaned. "We were just home". " Yea. Why don't we go do something fun?" I asked. "I mean there's a bowling alley not too far from here" Banana mumbled. "I'm down" I said. We both looked at Mads. She thought for a second before starting "I mean it's getting late, and I was kinda planning to go to the studio early tomorrow morn-" Banana and I both gave her a look. "Ugh. Fine! But that's only because you two would keep bugging me even if I said no." she said trying to hold in a smile but failing. "YAYY!" Banana and I shrieked, Banana leaning over to kiss Mads on the cheek. "Y'all are both such children." Mads sighed, shaking her head. We backed out of the parking lot, and drove off to the bowling alley.

Madison's POV
I decided to put on some music. I clicked on my 🚬 playlist. Balance ton quoi started playing and Banana and I sung along.

"Y'all know how to speak french?!" Lexi questioned. Banana stared at me before bursting out laughing. "No, actually- I mean Mads tried to learn over quarantine, but it didn't go very well and she gave up. We just like french music." She said smiling. "Thanks for throwing me under the bus." I said sarcastically, flipping her off. "Love you too." Banana choked. I shook her head before grinning.
This bitch will be the last of me.
We continued singing, passing streets until we arrived. Banana and Lexi hopped out of the car, closing their doors while I turned off the engine. I got out, locking the car before putting my keys in my purse.  "You coming?" Banana questioned, waving her hand towards them. "Yep!" I said walking over. "And Lex, you left your gum in the car", I said holding it out for her. "Would you mind putting it in my backpack?" "Of course." I said, walking behind her and undoing the zipper on the small black bag. I slipped it in before walking to her side.  "Thanks" Lex giggled, glanced at me and intertwining her hand and with mine. There's no way that just happened. Don't fuck this up Mads, I said to myself as I smiled at her, walking into the bowling alley.
After putting on our shoes and getting snacks as per Banana's request, we walked to our lane. "So, who wants to go first?" Banana questioned. "Because it definitely won't be me, I suck." she asserted. "I will!" Lexi exclaimed. She held her ball in her hand as she walked towards the lane. She got in position and released the ball. She stood there watching her ball hit eight pins. "Let's see if I can hit the others" she said while walking back to get another ball. "How the fuck did she just do that?" I questioned. "Girl's got game" shouted Banana. "Guess we got some competition". Madison laughed. "Why are you just standing there Lexi, you're up. I guess you can't take the heat" she continued "We'll see about that" I said as I picked up my ball and walked towards our lane.
