I sat on my bed idly, waiting for Taco to emerge from my bathroom. 

'What is she doing??'  My mind wandered;
 It's been more than 30 minutes since she went in with that dress. Putting a simple dress on doesn't take that long-

"You too." I heard her voice and the next thing I know I had grey fabric covering my eyes.

"Woah?!" Flicking the dress off my face, I look up once again to see her.

Her petite figure stood before me; an ambitious glare in her Hazel eyes.  The dress looked gorgeous on her; the gathered laced bodice flowing down into a pleated skirt ending right above her knees. 

I couldn't help but stare.

"Cat got your tongue?" She teased, waltzing her merry way over to me; 

"Wow." speechless... Her sheer beauty took me off guard. The way her brown curls dangled and bounced; The perky smile on her soft lips, and her almond toned skin, embellished with thousands of warm freckles.

She snorted and pinned the dress to my chest, leaning in ever so close; "You get changed as well, I have an idea for tonight."

"A-Are you sure?-" I looked down at the cloth being pushed onto me; It was a grey velvet dress, and it seemed to go down to my knees; "I don't think id look good in this..."

"Nonsense." Taco cupped my cheek in my hand; "I picked it specifically for you; and trust me, I have good taste."


I sighed and walked to the bathroom; knowing full and well that I will never look as good as she did.

 I am so lucky.  I felt my face heat up.

I look at myself in the mirror; how did she pull this off? 

Tugging a little at my waist, I spun around again. The dress fit, But I wasn't sure how it looked on me and Taco was getting impatient; 

"Just come out here so I can see!" She knocked twice, obviously agitated.

"One second." I took one final look at myself; the Gown was long,  with velour-ish fabric. It had a metallic grey color on it. It only had one shoulder, so my other; very bony one would be exposed. Not to excited about that.  The skirt was a mermaid one, falling just above my ankles.

"Miiiiic." She groaned, I knew I couldn't keep her waiting much longer.

Taking a second to fix my hair, I unlocked the door to let her see.

She took a second to take it in, walking a circle around me and stopping right in front, her chest pressed against mine.

"You look Beautiful, It's leaving me gobsmacked." She wrapped her arms around my waist, looking up into my eyes;


"But you're still talking, arent you?-" I baited, Getting lost; once again; In those dashing Green-brown eyes. "So what do have planned??"

"You'll have to come and see~" Taco moved her hands to my own, tugging lightly on them before pulling away; taking me with her-

"Woah!" I was yanked down the stairs and to the back door; "We're going into the backyard?" Glaring at her; I furrowed my brow.

"Further than that, Love."  Just hearing those words roll off her raspy British tongue set my heart on fire.

She towed me out back, into the small bush of trees into a small clearing;

And I was smacked in the face with the majesty.

 the moon cast its rays over the small field, hundreds of and thousands of glowing stars just above us. The sky was a misty purple; It was almost as if this was a dream.

Taco pulled us right into the middle, the cold glow reflecting off her gentle skin in a ethereal matter.

"One dance?" She pulled back up against me, her face next to mine.

I smiled like an idiot and leaned in, I couldn't even help how giddy I was; she was just perfect. Everything about her; the way the talked, the way she looked, even the way she smiled.

she leaned in as well, the two of us meeting in the middle for a short, sweet kiss. 

Her fingers tenderly interlaced with mine and she held our hands up beside us, her other hand resting on my shoulder.

I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close, taking the lead as I stuck my leg back, hers forward.

"I love you."

"Same here."

and we stayed, dancing  under the generous moonlight; Bonded together by love, for eternity and beyond.
