• chapter 14 •

Two-Bits P.O.V-

The sun started to set, so I grabbed my leather jacket and decided to start heading over to the Drive in. I went downstairs and grabbed my car keys and headed over there.

I parked the car outside of it so I wouldn't have to pay to get in. I ran over to the fence and snuck in through the whole. Most of the gang was there so I headed over there where they were.

I saw Johnny and pulled him to the side. "I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I was just in a bad mood. Will you forgive me"?

Johnny nodded "Yeah, I'm sorry for staring."

I patted his back "Tell me what you were thinking."

Johnny whispered "It thought you really liked Ivy. Yesterday, you seemed so happy because of a kiss."

I frowned "Well I was wrong. she didn't really care."

Johnny replied "Maybe your wrong. Maybe you should go talk to her.'

I shook my head "Johnny if you were there you would understand. But you don't." I sighed as I walked back over to the rest of the gang.

Steve kept staring at me and it was getting annoying. "What do I have something on my face" ? I asked.

Steve shook his head "No it's nothing." He turned away.

I kept looking for Dally but Ponyboy said he wasn't coming until later. I kept standing there, patiently waiting. I looked around and saw some of the guys from Shepherds gang. I frowned hoping Ivy wouldn't come, I don't knew if I could keep a straight face on if she did come.

I kept looking around hoping Ivy wasn't there. Would it be that bad though?

I finally heard the New York accent I had been waiting for. I turned around "Dally! You have the money" ?

Dally laughed "What money"? He said.

Great he was intoxicated.

I glared at him "Dally don't play around. You already know."

Dally burped obnoxiously "I have no idea. You tell me."

I yelled frustrated "The money I made from the bet"!

Dally smiled "Are you mad"?

I held my head and angrily replied "Listen Dally. You owe me money from the bet that we made. I kissed Ivy and now you owe me money" !

Someone tapped on my shoulder, Steve stood there "You shouldn't have said that"!

I turned around "And why is that" ?

Steve pulled Evie next to me "Because her sister is here"!

Evie glared at me "Your giving my sister the silent treatment when you here making money over playing with her heart! She is at home crying you asshole"!

I shook my head "Why is she crying" ?

Evie scoffed "Your really That stupid?! She is crying because she let you go. To protect you from Tim"!

I smiled "Really! I have to go see her"!

Evie stopped me "No! stay away from her! I'm telling her that you only cared about her over a bet"!

I tried stopping her "Evie wait! I didn't care about the bet, I realized-"

Evie shoved me "You realized that it was your loss"!

Steve chased after her and I stood there helplessly.

Ivys P.O.V-

I answered the door and Tim stood there. "Hey Ivy" ?

I yawned "what's up"?

"Want to go to the drive in with me and a couple of other guys."

I looked down "I don't know. I am not feeling well."

Tim begged me "C'mon the fresh air will make you feel better."

I nodded "Okay I guess. Let me go get ready."

I ran upstairs and quickly fixed my make up. I slipped in my leather jacket and ran downstairs where Tim patiently sat on the couch.

We both ran to his car and we sped off to the Drive in. I got out of the car grateful that I brought my leather jacket because it was freezing outside.

I held a cigarette to my lips as my hair flew viciously by the wind. I grabbed Tim's lighter out of his pocket, and put my cigarette. I tossed it back to him and he shoved it into his pocket.

I walked into the Drive in and the smell of alcohol and smoke filled the air. I smiled as I saw the sign :Please no smoking or drinking.

I walked over to Tim "Can you send me a couple bucks, I want popcorn and a pop."

Tim handed me a few dollars "Get me some."

I nodded as I walked over to the stand. I stood in line and someone tapped my shoulder. I spun around and saw Dally?

"What's up"? I asked.

He coughed "You like beer"?

I laughed "Your drunk! Oh I have never seen you drunk"!

Dally held his mouth and ran to the trash can. He threw up into it and I looked away disgusted.

" Next "! Called the worker.

I walked up "Two popcorn and cokes please."

" Who is that for"? Said a voice behind me.

I turned around and saw Two-Bit. "Um hi"

Two-Bit replied "Are you still mad at me."

I grabbed the popcorn and the cokes and led Two-Bit behind the building. "I thought you were mad at me."

Two-Bit smiled "How could I ever be mad at your precious little face"?

I raised an eyebrow "So you were never mad"?

Two-Bit shook his head "No."

I laughed "Two-Bit I cried because I thought I hurt you."

Two-Bit grinned "Really? You cried just for me"?

I nodded, blushing "Yes. I am really sorry for what I said."

Two-Bit smiled "It's okay. I'm sorry for being a drama queen."

I nodded "That's fine. Um I guess I will see you around."

" Wait. You don't want to hang out with me"? He asked.

I sighed "I can't. Not right now, Tim's here."

Two-Bit frowned "Well okay I guess I'll see you around after he dies! He is so controlling and your letting him control you."
