• chapter 11 •

Ivys P.O.V-

I held my breath as I heard the front door open. There was no hiding Two-Bit. I turned around and saw Evie.

Evie looked at me and then to Two-Bit. A grin built up on her face "Did I interrupt something" ?

I smiled and stood up "No. I was just -"

She cut me off "Having a make out session"?

I furrowed my eyebrows and replied "No. He just had something on his face and I cleaned it off."

Evie nodded "Okay. Sure. I'm going to my room."

I knew I was gonna get teased later on. I held my head as I turned around to face Two-Bit.

Two-Bit had a sly smirk on his face "Did you get it off my face"?

I groaned as I sat down "Yes."

Two-Bit stood up "I think I better be going."

I nodded as I led him to the door "See you around."

Two-Bit winked at me "Do you work tomorrow" ?

I replied "Yes."

Two-Bit smiled "There is no way I'm gonna miss the chance of seeing you and your cute work attire."

I raised an eyebrow "Then I guess I will see you tomorrow."

I closed the door and ran into Evie who had apparently been eavesdropping on our whole conversation.

Evie jumped back "Watch where your going"!

I glared at her "what are you doing in here"?

Evie frowned "Oh c'mon your acting as if I am not a nosy person."

I walked into the kitchen "I already knew that but I don't stalk you and Steve."

Evie twirled around the kitchen "Two-Bit likes you"!

I felt my cheeks start to heat up and I replied "He probably was just bored. By tomorrow he will forget all about me."

Evie scoffed "Are you stupid? He said he is gonna see you in your cute little uniform tomorrow."

I opened the fridge and grabbed a beer "good night."

Evie stepped in front of me "He likes you. You like him! Oh it's like a love story."

I stopped at the stairs "Yes. Romeo and Juliet. Someones gonna get hurt in this."

Evie scoffed "How"?

I groaned "Evie I really don't have time for this" !

Evie screamed "How"?!

I replied "We're both in separate gangs. Tim so happens to hate Two-Bit."

Evie pulled me off the stairs "Tim hates you too! So."

I pulled my arm out of her grasp and ran up the stairs. At the top, I turned and faced her "Is that supposed to make me feel better" ?

Evie rolled her eyes "Ivy. You know what I mean."

I slammed the door to my room and locked it. I dont know what angered me so much. The thought of Tim hating me or the thought of everyone knowing he hated me.

I climbed into my bed and faced the wall. Evie kept knocking on the door but I wouldn't answer it. I need to wait until I woke up from my nap to talk to her so that's what I did.

Two-Bits P.O.V-

I ran down the street happily. I was running to the Curtis house to tell them what just happened.

I ran through the door and slammed it closed. Everyone looked up at me.

"Guys guess what"?! I yelled.

The only one who responded was Ponyboy "What"?

I smiled "Ivy and I kissed"!

Steve shushed me "Shh"!

I glared at him "Why? Ivy and I kissed! It was awesome"!

Everyone looked at me with sorry eyes.

" So you kissed Ivy"? Said a loud voice.

I looked up and saw.

Tim?!

I took a step back "Um no."

Tim walked closer to me "So tell me, Two-Bit. Who leaned in first? You or her"?

I shook my head "I have to go."

Tim grabbed my arm "Your not so excited about it now. Are you"?

I reacted to fast and my fist ended up in his face. I watched as he fell back holding his nose.

I opened the front door and ran down the street.

What did I just do?

The next morning ~

Ivy's P.O.V-

I woke up to my alarm clock's annoying ringing. I yawned as I climbed out of my bed. I slipped on a plaid shirt with a white crop top. I brushed my hair and put a little bit of make up on.

I opened the door and saw Evie standing there as if she had been waiting all night.

" Evie what the hell"?! I whisper yelled, hoping not to draw any attention from my parents.

Evie glared at me "You don't slam doors in people's faces."

I replied "You don't tell people someone else hates them"!

" Girls"! Yelled my mom.

Evie and I have each other a dirty look before we went downstairs to see what our mom wanted.

"Yes"? I called when I walked in there.

My mom faced us "Stop your bickering. Get to work."

I smiled "Yes mom."

I was lucky to have my parents favor me. They use to favor Evie until the whole 'I might be pregnant ' fiasco.

Evie shoved me out the door "Bye bar lady"!

I narrowed my eyes "Your jobless and a drop out so."

" Girls"! Yelled my mom again.

I ran out the door and Evie ran up the stairs.

I got into my car and sped off down the street. Evie better not had made me late or I will slap her.

I ran inside of Buck's and Buck smiled when he saw me.

"Good Morning, Ivy." He said.

I replied, waving "Morning. Busy day"?

Buck nodded "Probably."

I went behind the counter and quickly slid on the apron, waiting for the first customers to walk in.

I heard the bells ring and I immediately walked over to the front door with a fake smile on my face.

I looked down and grabbed my notepad to write down the order. "Hello, welcome to Bucks. What would you like to drink"?
