Ohm hurled the ball at the wall of the gym out of frustration. He has been practicing his 3-point shots but so far, he's had no success. He looked contemptuously at Chimon and Nanon laughing and having a good time while stretching.

Why am I feeling annoyed like this, he asked himself. He couldn't explain why watching the two made him so mad. They've all been getting along well for a few days now. He has even started joining their lunch dates with New and Jane.

He scratched his head. Was he really jealous of Chimon? And was he being jealous as Nanon's bestfriend or is there something more to what he was feeling? He shrugged and walked towards the bench to drink some water.

He wasn't even done drinking when he saw Namtan walking towards him. He sighed.

He and Namtan haven't spoken since the day Jane sort of attacked her. It has been almost a week.

"Hi, can we talk?" Namtan asked with a blank face.

"Sure," Ohm answered nonchalantly and led Namtan to the bleachers. "What is it?"

"Uhm, the past few days have been quite awkward between the two of us," Namtan started. "Are you mad at me or something?"

"Uh, no," Ohm answered.

"Then why have you been avoiding me? I know what I did was wrong but I already apologized to Nanon and we're okay now."

"I really don't know, Namtan. It's just that the past few days have been really tough and I haven't really thought about us."

"Hmm. Do you even really love me?" Namtan was dead serious. She understood that Ohm got mad at her but was it normal for a boyfriend to ignore his girlfriend for such a long time?

Ohm took a while to respond. "Honestly, Namtan, I don't kno," he paused. He actually did not know what was going on with him and his feelings. "I feel like we had so much fun since we started dating and then when school started, everything just went downhill."

Namtan smiled sadly. "Thanks for being honest. I noticed that too. Frankly, I felt the same way. At first, I thought it was only because you weren't paying attention to me anymore. But then I realized some days I didn't even think of you. I guess I just liked the idea of being with you but there was nothing more to it than that."

"I'm sorry Namtan. I completely sucked as your boyfriend. I have no excuse."

"Know what? That's kinda okay," Namtan responded before pausing as she was shocked by how easily those words came out. "It's weird actually," she continued. "Before, if something like this would have happened, I would have made a scene and yelled at you. But this time I feel like we just aren't really clicking anymore, you know?"

Ohm managed a smile. "So what do you want us to do moving forward?"

"I guess we just need to break up then? Start fresh."

"Are you sure you're ok with that?"

"Of course. But for the record, I broke up with you, okay?"

Ohm laughed. "Of course. Thanks Namtan. Thank you for being so understanding. I wish I could have been a better boyfriend for you but you deserve so much better."

Namtan just shrugged and hugged him. "We can still be friends, ok?"

Ohm agreed, "Yes. But don't replace me too soon, all right?"

"You wish," Namtan answered. "I can have another you in a minute."

"Isn't that a song?"

"Matter of fact he'll be here in a minute."
