You have 3 hours to get here, or I kill him.

With that, she hung up the phone, leaving you standing in shock. You quickly rush to find the chauffeur, who was outside, having a smoke.

"We need to go back to the compound. Gwen is there." you say, but he shakes his head.

"My orders are to keep you safe here. If I take you back and you get hurt, I'm dead."

You feel anger rise in you. Yeah well if you keep me here, there won't be anyone to kill you because they'll all be dead! You sigh and walk back into the house, plotting how to get out. You study the chauffeur's movement like a hawk, scanning for weaknesses. Nothing. He sits outside, car keys on the table. There's no way you can steal them without him noticing. You check the time. Shoot, one hour has gone by already? You start pacing anxiously.

Suddenly the chauffeur walks in, rushing past you towards the toilet. This is my chance. You run out to the garden, praying that the keys were still on the table, and sure enough, they were. You grab them and make your way to the car. There's a gate separating you from the car, it's too tall for you to jump over and there's not footholds to help you climb over. An idea pops into your head and you go back to the table. It was plastic but it should hold your weight. You drag it towards the gate and slowly climb onto it.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" You turn around and see the chauffeur sprinting towards you. Shit. You jump over the gate, not really paying attention. As you land, you hear a crack as your ankle gives way beneath you. No no no, please don't do this right now. The chauffeur seems to be gaining on you, so you get up, ignoring the searing pain that's shooting up from your foot. You race towards the car and get in just as he catches up to you. Quickly, you lock the doors.

"Y/N, get out now." he says. "get out before I break the window open."

These should be bulletproof, right? Do I really want to take that risk? You pause for a second, but remember the time limit. "Sorry" you mouth, as you step on the gas.

You soon realise that you don't actually know the compound's address. You check the car's GPS but there aren't any saved addresses. Picking up the phone, you dial the compound number again.

"What's the address?" you ask, without even checking who's on the line. You input the address and follow the maps. By now, your eyesight is becoming blurry from the pain in your ankle. Please tell me I didn't break it. You refuse to look down, knowing that you'll faint if you see anything weird.

By the time you reach the compound, you can barely see. The pain is so intense, you feel like puking. The gates open and you drive in. Gwen is waiting by the main entrance, but CJ is nowhere to be seen. You stop the car in front of her and get out. The moment your foot touches the ground, you crumple. You try to pull yourself up using the car door, but looking down, you realise that a bone is sticking out from your ankle.

Gwen motions to two guards to help you up as she walks towards you.

"You know, I respect you, Y/N. You could've stayed in the safe-house. You could've forgotten about CJ, found a new lover. But you didn't." She starts to walk away and the guards drag you behind her.

You grit your teeth, mentally cursing yourself for not landing more gracefully at the safe-house. If your ankle wasn't broken, you'd have clocked Gwen by now.

"Where is he, Gwen." you say, trying to sound as cold as possible. She turns back and looks at you, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"You really love him, don't you?" she sighs. "That'll just make what I'm about to ask you to do that much harder. Bring her to the infirmary first. I'll talk to her later." With that she walks away.

As you get to the infirmary, you see Fash, still in his bed where you left him. The guards lift you up into the bed beside his and nurses rush to tend to your foot, which, by now, was over twice its normal size. They elevate your leg using some sort of pulley system and start to make a splint. You look over at Fash.

"What happened?" you ask. He shrugs.

"I'm not too sure. All I know is that after you left, CJ came back here and asked me a few more questions. You know, if Gwen had told me of any plans or anything. A few minutes later, we heard shouting and gunshots from outside and CJ went out to investigate. Next thing I know, Gwen is walking through the doors, holding him at gunpoint."

I'm surprised she didn't try to kill Fash again. Well, to be fair, I doubt she wanted to kill him the first time.

You continue talking to Fash about the events of the day, how you broke your ankle, etc... until Gwen walks in.

"You ready to help me kill a Mafia boss?"
