Chapter 4: The Gospel Shared By The Gospel Sharers

"Bro, it's okay. We don't need to force them."

I turned to Eustace. He gave me a smile and a pat on my shoulder. Tumayo na rin sila Mika at pumunta sila sa direksyon namin.

"Kalma muna, bro," pagtapik ni Jonathan sa balikat ko.

"I'm sure God will make a way for them to hear the gospel, but maybe not this time," said Hailey.

"We just need to trust God, Kenneth. Hindi natin kontrolado ang mga nangyayari at mangyayari," ngiti sa akin ni Mika. Sinuklian ko silang lahat ng isang ngiti. "Let's win more souls, guys," I told them. "Let's fight for this generation and continue to share the gospel even more," at this, they smiled and got motivated.

We moved on and continued sharing the gospel to every students na nakakasalamuha namin. A few minutes later, we decided to take a break and go to the cafeteria to buy some snacks. After buying some snacks, we sat on a table of 5 and started sharing our experience a while ago.

"Although may mga iba na nag-reject, let's just pray for them," ngiting sabi ni Jonathan tsaka isinubo ang fries na hawak niya.

"I agree. We've already planted the seed in them. We must now leave the rest of the work to the Holy Spirit," saad naman ni Eustace. We all nodded. "All we can do right now is to pray for them."

"Amen!" I exclaimed and they all followed with an 'Amen'. After a little more chats, we went out to the field again dahil dito ang tambayan ng karamihan whenever it is their vacant time. As we got to the field, we found a group of students chatting and laughing. We looked at each other and smiled. We were about to approach them nang may narinig kaming tumikhim sa likod namin. We turned to look at who that was at laking gulat ko nang makita kung sino iyon.

"Lydia?" Gulat kong tawag sa kanya. She just smirked at us. The others greeted her but she paid no attention to it.

"I'll give you the honor of listening to your fairytale, given that you will explain to me what this means," she said and handed us a card. Eustace took the card from her hand and we moved closer to Eustace to see what the card says. What's written on it was the verse John 14:6. I guess this was the card that we gave to her the other day.

"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," pagbasa ni Mika.

"Oh, Eustace, explain mo raw! Ikaw umabot niyan eh," natatawang sambit ni Hailey.

"'Wag tayong maging paniki, bro, ha?" Dagdag ni Jonathan.

"Walang magsasabing 'ba't ako?'" Dagdag ko pa. Nagtawanan lang kami at muling ibinalik ang atensyon kay Lydia na hindi na maipinta ang mukha dahil yata sa biruan namin. Umirap na lang siya at may kinuha sa bulsa niya.
