'I messed up' I spoke to myself as I frantically try to fix the mess I made. Unfortunately, my customer didn't have an ounce of patience and harsh words were spat at me before they stormed out of the store in annoyance.
Head hung low in dismay, I cleaned the counter with a damp cloth. My coworkers shake their heads side to side ever so lightly at the mess and pity was bestowed upon me and my manager walked in from the management room. Her manicured nails gestured me to follow her into the management office. Shuddering with fear,
I kept my head hung low while following her towards the office. She takes her place behind the maple wood desk, he retrieves an iPad from the desk drawer and swiftly unlocks it while shooting poisonous daggers into my soul. She shoved the gadget into my vision field.

"can't you just get a simple order right?" she questioned, he tone low and vicious.

"I'm so sorry ma'am. I promise this won't happen the next time" I solemnly swore in timidity.

"There won't be the next time" dead cold.

"Ma'am?"

"you're fired" she held her hand out, commanding me to hand over the store's badge and my nametag. I sighed lightly as I unpinned the badge and my nametag, placing them over the manager's open palm.

Somehow the air outside seemed to sway to my distressed mind. My sweater did me no justice as the wind blew into it like it was never there. The streets lights that made its way to the beautiful bridge caught my eyes.
'I need a breather'
My feet floated its way towards the captivating humongous bridge.

It seems like time is running when I relax my joints for a bit. It's almost 2 hours since I left the cafe and made my way to the bridge. The bridge was soo comforting. I've never felt soo welcome to somewhere or someplace like thins before.

The distant shrunken sun sank into the end of the river looking absolutely beautiful yet it made me melancholy.
'worthless, nothing but worthless. Oh, how I wish I could die! But mom? She's sick, I've got to get a new part-time job to help her'
My eyes wandered around the view just before I heard a defeated sigh from the stranger nearby. It somehow caught my attention. Eye contact was made and the tall stranger broke the eye contact and opened his mouth to speak.

"you know how people generally say practice makes perfect?" he asked, nodding I looked, waiting for the answer.
"if that's the case, why do most of us still suck at this game called life?" he raised a single brow and gently smiled. Somehow I found it slightly funny. Chuckling gently, I returned his soft smile.

"hey! I made u smile! By the way, I'm Kim Seok Jin " he exclaimed and introduced in satisfaction.

"that really made my day. Thank you. I'm y/n. Nice to meet you " I bowed slightly at him.

He reminded me of plants that bloom with grace with little butterflies fluttering as the clouds were painted heavenly across the sky
